As you can see, they put giant googley eyes on them to make them more endearing and less menacing. Except they’re on the side of the robot’s “head,” so you can’t see them when this 6 ft black obelisk with glowing blue eyes starts rolling up on you and your small defenseless child while you’re innocently standing in the baking aisle looking for pancake mix.
It looks like it’s judging all of my choices.

Mortal Engines
Coming from someone who has never read and hasn't seen the movie, only trailers.
Am I the only one who thinks the base idea of Mortal Engines is the stupidest shit I'd ever heard? Entire cities... on wheels? That actually function?
In a war torn world, they wouldn't have anywhere near enough common/classic fuel (aka fossil fuels) for like one city on wheels let alone multiple. You could probably do nuclear power, buuuuuut to my knowledge it isnt mobile and would need pretty advanced tech. Which they appear not to have. From the look of the cities it's clearly not natural fuel (solar/wind/water). That also brings up another problem. Do they filter their pee? How do they drink? Hell, how do they eat? They dont seem to have farms.
Theres a lot of plot holes here. Not to mention just a really stupid idea.
Please help me understand and change my mind.
