- Did somebody say “drive-in movie theaters”?
- Kitt and Micheal actually agreeing that their favorite genre of movie is sci-fi/action because Kitt doesn’t relate very well to heavy relationship stuff.
- Kitt talks during movies. He’s constantly comparing himself to cars in the movie, saying things like “I could withstand that!” or “Hmm, that looked unpleasant.”
- Kitt remarks that he would be a very good stunt car for a movie. Micheal entertains the idea sometimes. Devon has expressly forbidden it (unless it’s somehow important to a case.)
- What does Kitt do with all that time in the parking lot? Well, Bonnie downloaded a bunch of books into the back of his memory banks, and Kitt has devised a program that delays the information by about a second, thus letting him “read”. It saves space in his short-term memory because it means he doesn’t memorize it line by line, AND it gives him a reading experience that is very similar to that of a human’s. (Yes, this is taken from a conglomeration of fics.)
- Kitt is fantastic at reading aloud, which is nice for Micheal on long car trips. Audiobooks!
- Kitt’s favorite books are still sci-fi and action based, but he also enjoys reading the classics.
- Though… Kitt often avoids sci-fi books with AIs, because how most authors address the topic makes him very uncomfortable. Plus, such books often deal with themes of AIs being sentient, and… Kitt doesn’t like to think about that very much.
- Kitt finds jokes about 2001: A Space Odyssey to be very distasteful and genuinely scolded Micheal when he made the inevitable “open the pod bay doors” joke.
- Kitt doesn’t like to think about whether or not he’s sentient or where he stands in comparison to humans. He is who he is, and dwelling on the matter is unnecessary. And besides, he’ll always have Micheal, Devon, Bonnie, and the Foundation to take care of him. Right?
- Kitt might be the winner at chess and videogames, but he is terrible at poker. Micheal relishes this.
- Devon is the Dad™ of the entire crew, but especially to Kitt. Especially to Kitt.
- Devon and Micheal bond over their shared experience as soldiers. Devon talks about fighting Nazis. Micheal isn’t so eager to talk about who he fought, but he appreciates Devon’s stories and empathy immensely.
- Kitt actually can’t laugh. He can say “ha”, but he can’t laugh like a human. If he’s amused, he’ll tell people he would be laughing right now if he was able.
- However, Kitt can absolutely sing, though he would never admit it.
- Devon is actually fairly ripped. He’s strong enough to do a few pull-ups, and could carry someone like Micheal for a fair distance if need be.
- Bonnie is also fairly ripped. If you need furniture moved, call her.
- And of course Micheal is ripped because rock climbing.
- So the trio are all Buff™, but Micheal is actually clueless about the other twos’ strength because he’s not very observant.
- Devon 500% calls the U.S. “the colonies’. Every time. Even though he’s lived here for, like, a long time.
- Kitt has a "no trash” rule for his interior. He finally relented on the food and drink, but only if it has a lid!
