Summary:

The conversation that morning was a brief exchange on a crisp Tuesday. Griff had made a light joke about supply runs to town given their location while Michael chided playfully back, “This is a rental, Griff. Not a luxury stop at a state park.”

To which, of course, Griff was easy to admit, “I have never been to a park before–outside of those small ones you walk about. Not much to do with nature really.” Griff sipped at his coffee as he retrieved his phone to check on KARR. It had, as was now his morning custom, become commonplace to check on the Porsche via his interfacing units on his phone.

His attention was stolen from the flabbergasted horror of the older man’s expression. “Never…been to…Wait,” The older man waved his hands in an animated gesture. “Are you saying you have never gone camping either?”

A Reason to Stay, E, Gabriel/Roger

After being killed by Michael, Gabriel is pulled from the Empty into another universe. He meets Roger, who has just finished closing the portal with Emerson. After some convincing, Roger agrees to help Gabriel get back to his own universe.

But Roger has his own problem - the curse hasn't been lifted. Gabriel offers to help him out, and circumstances lead them on a road trip to Roger’s home.

However, Roger soon finds out that he has a major problem of his own - the curse hasn’t been lifted, he’s failed and the world is going to end because of him. Feeling sympathy towards Roger, Gabriel offers to help, and circumstances lead them on a road trip to Roger’s home in New York. On the way, Roger and Gabriel grow closer as they learn more about each other - their pasts, their traumas, who they really are - and Gabriel finds it harder to leave, and Roger finds it harder to let him go. In the end, the final decision will be made for them by the cause for all their worries: the big bad demon (for lack of a better term) that waits for them near Roger’s childhood home…

So I remembered, via Knight Rider Archives, that Michael and Kitt are unofficially canon, and I love that about the show:
