If various companies think that pulling their content from Netflix so they can host their own streaming service will make them sign up to theirs then they are wrong. It will just make me pirate their content again.

The whole point of paying for a streaming was getting all the stuff you like on one place. If I have to pay for multiple streaming services I might as well buy cable.

It’s like they don’t realize that I only stopped stealing as a courtesy to the creators. Make it remotely inconvenient and I’ll go right back to piracy

There were two professors like this in my department and I was one of like 20 people who was taught by both of them so there was a very small gang of us who knew that Professor Brick Wall and Professor Overshare were married with two kids.

Maybe I’ve missed something, but everyone my age hating on Fortnite & TikTok feels a lot like that “shitting on kids and acting like anything new is garbage just because it’s new” stuff that we all promised we wouldn’t do because of how much it sucked when it was done to us.

People don’t understand just how manufactured and exploitative that industry is. Imagine what child actors have to go through, but they have even less free time, aren’t independent, and basically property. The moment they speak out about abuse or mismanagement they’re replaced, and their lives are basically over. 

I wonder how many people on here that have reblogged those “I treat retail workers/public service workers with RESPECT because I’m not HUMAN GARBAGE” type posts have also endorsed or straight up taken part in sending death threats/suicide bait/unrelenting harassment to the people that make their media
