As a Church Scene Enjoyer i really like kingslime headcanons where the King used the church as a way to be possessive over Avery. Like “You’re finally mine, now, Vessel.” Etc etc. Can you imagine the frustration from the King after he realizes SIGNS were enough to break his hold. Not just any signs but SIGNS FROM HIS COMPETITION. I’d be fuming lmao. He was THIS FUCKING CLOSE to finally being together and united with his Vessel and this derek asshole comes around and ruins it.
