yeah if you utter the phrase "conventionally attractive piece of machinery" you have lost perspective. this is a pyramid head situation. tumblr is not the website to have these debates.

if u get into neopaganism u really have to spend the first like 2 years sorting out all the bullshit and finding out how much of it is either completely made up or outright stolen from other cultures and then go from there. u truly have to experience ego death, academic death, book collection death, and probably 47 other maimings or else you will be stuck believing something some guy said based on nothing in 1987 as your religion. it's harrowing. it's dire.

also frustrating is whenever i talk about this i inevitably run into the edgelords like "well it's ALL made up anyway so who cares ha ha ha." do not interact with me.

the replacement of websites with apps sounds so backwards when you actually describe it. like hmm you have to download an entire program onto your device each time you want access to a portal, where it takes up storage indefinitely. somebody should invent an app where you can "browse" any portal just by typing in its address... 🥴

These wonderful people have a single braincell to share but unfortunately none of them are using it

oopsie i tripped and spilled my link to archive dot org's downloadable copy of Microsoft office suite for 2007, which features no AI tools and is a powerful word processor that still holds up just fine on windows 10!
