Sometimes I feel like a lot of the hate Teen Titans gets is actually projected from Teen Titans Go, because why do I keep seeing mischaracterizations being blamed on the ‘03 show when it’s actually a stereotype perpetuated by Teen Titans Go being retroactively conflated with something from TT03.
Maybe this is just like a thing I see on TikTok with people watching the bare minimum of the show or out of context scenes, but it just gives off a lack of media literacy/character analysis to me.

(4+1) 4 times Grayson has almost died and one time he actually did🗣️
This looked cooler in my head ngl, and you can tell I lost motivation time to time.
All of these moments are canon but slightly made more dramatic:
Forever evil #1
Nightwing (2016) #40
Grayson #5
Nightwing (2016) #25
Forever evil #6
We're finally done, Nightwing fans. After 4 years, the last of Tom Taylor's Nightwing is released in graphic novel format.
If you're a fan of omnis, one collecting Vols. 1-3 (including Fear State) is set to release July 22. But before that, we're getting Dan Watters' first Nightwing GN titled On With the Show July 1! FOC date is April 7. Already got my pre-order in <3

"Nightwing isn't *really* Romani. It was only mentioned in one or two issues and then basically never again." ... Seriously?
I can only imagine this kind of statement comes from people who don't actually read Nightwing comics. But for all the deniers out there...
Nightwing (Vol. 2) Annual #1 (1997)
The Titans #16 (2000)
Batman: Gotham Knights #20-21 (2001)
Nightwing (Vol. 2) #91 & #100 (2004)
Batman & Robin (Vol. 1) #9 (2010)*
Secret Origins (Vol. 4) #8 (2014)
Nightwing (Vol. 4) #8 (2016)**
Nightwing (Vol. 4) #82 (2021)
Friendly reminder that Romani people-- not to mention mixed Romani-- can have a huge range of skin tones, including light or 'white-passing' as we so often see with Dick. His father was alluded to being of Italian-Romani descent in Post-Crisis and New 52, and his mother was stated to be a French-Romani immigrant in Rebirth. It's unclear whether his father being Rom is still canon with the whole Gray Son of Gotham thing, but it's entirely possible it is, leaving the safe assumption that Dick is somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 Romani.
*His "barely decipherable accent" could simply be due to the fact Dick was raised surrounded by many people with all kinds of accents so he didn't learn a definitive one (think not Gothamite, Midwestern, etc. but a blend) or this could be Grant Morrison attempting a nod at his Roma heritage without really considering Dick did, in fact, grow up speaking fluent English rather than purely a Romani dialect which wouldn't be surprising considering their writing of other minority characters (*cough* Talia). Given this would be a strange comment to make of an otherwise white American character, I'm inclined to believe the latter assumption.
**The Cirque Romanès is a real French-Romani circus Mary Grayson and Raptor were canonically part of. For extra clarity, however, Tim Seeley confirmed on Twitter that Mary is indeed Romani.
Shoutout to Batgirl(s) for their portrayal of characters with disabilities and their varied use of mobility aids! Ft. Barbara Gordon and Frankie Charles.
Batgirls #1, #4, and #12
Batgirl (2011) #37 and Black Canary (2015) #10
Batgirl (2016) #4
And, keep in mind, there are plenty of issues in between with Babs and Frankie not using their mobility aids as well! With chronic illnesses, injuries, etc. it is extremely realistic to be 'fine' one day, but be reliant on mobility aids another due to various factors. I think these are the only (?) comics I've read that have captured this aspect of disabilities rather than treating them as linear progressions of becoming either better or worse, or as completely static conditions.
"Barbara Gordon is just Dick Grayson's accessory and appears only in Nightwing now" Barbara Gordon:
Batman and Robin #19
Detective Comics #1092
Detective Comics #1093
Detective Comics #1094
Birds of Prey #14
Birds of Prey #14
Birds of Prey #19
Sure darling.
Hm hm, she TOTALLY only follow Grayson, isn't Oracle anymore and doesn't appear anywhere else but near Grayson, of course, i SEE that...
She just doesn't have a solo book, for god's sake. Many characters doesn't and appears in other books you know.
Find better excuses to hate on her or the ship, cough cough.

"Barbara Gordon was de-aged for Dick Grayson!" Huh...I beg to differ?
If I'm not mistaken, Barbara Gordon got de-aged back in the 1987.
Dick and Kory broke up in the 1994.
New Titans Vol 1 #114
Dick and Barbara started to sort of become a thing in 1996 with Chuck Dixon's run. They weren't even exactly a thing, even though they shared some kisses and moments.
Meanwhile, they were also having a bit of stories with other people.
Birds of Prey #15 1998
Nightwing #42 1996
Now, I might be wrong so correct me if I am, but I think they became official in Devin Grayson's run in 2002. Shame because she wrote them rather OC...
I feel like in Dixon's run they were mostly teased as a possible couple. Their interaction are through calls, sometimes Dick goes over to Babs. They called each other pet names sometimes, but he called her more "Babs".
Then, in Devin Grayson's run, Dick mention Barbara being his girlfriend a lot, calling each other sweetheart and handsome, going more on dates, it's kind of implied that he used to go sleep at her place more times?
I think Barbara got de-aged because she was an icon. The Batgirl. Young. Before, she used to be a congresswoman, and she seemed to be at least in her 30s. They should have changed it in Batwoman then. Still, Barbara was a popular icon for young girls and since Jim Gordon also got de-aged, they made her younger too.
So, years between Barbara Gordon being de-aged and DickKory break up: 7 years.
Years between DickKory break up and DickBabs officially getting together: 8 years.
Years between Barbara Gordon being de-aged and DickBabs officially getting together: 15 years.
That's quite a lot of time.
"Why won't DC make DickKory canon? They're literally star-crossed soulmates."
People do know what star-crossed means, right? Because the question answers itself.
It's tragic-- beautifully tragic-- but that's how their love was written, I fear.

Taken from my own copy of Nightwing: Knight Terrors :)
First time I've seen official concept art of him with tanned/darker skin! Perhaps a nod to his Romani roots? Not sure. In the story he's not nearly as tan though-- someone else did the coloring.
