But some ideas for Robert being absolutely insane;

- has a built up resistance to a couple common poisons, maybe even clorophom? Like, it doesn't even have to relate to people he fights as Mecha Mam, maybe he got kidnapped so much as a kid that he built up resistance or his dad intentionally had him build up a resistance.

- Knows the MO's of so many villains because he fought them so many times. Probably saves the team from a trap because he knows this villains fuckery.

- his response to being grabbed while dosing or sleeping is Immediate Takedown Mode. Just the fact that he can probably takedown someone with superpowers within 2 seconds of being awake is probably super impressive.

- Definitely paranoid and a Great hacker, which I think would mix into "i secretly installed my own firewalls into your electronics because the regular stuff is trash and I could link to them through Bluetooth. Don't worry, I've also made back ups of your phones for when they get destroyed on patrol. What are you making that face for? I don't look through any of it, it's your phone."

- I want one of them to notice the absolutely insane way he fights, offer to teach him how to fight properly, then find out he has been trained in multiple fighting styles. He's just been both recovering from being in a coma and he just fights Like That. The optimal fighting style for a non-powered person vs. Super powered person is Feral Raccoon.

that could not be further from the truth. i won't dare speak for everyone but my fondest fandom experiences have been geeking over someone's fic (or art), sometimes my own, sometimes a friend's, and enjoying talking to them about what they were thinking when they made it, what they wanted to convey, digging into the themes they're exploring and the concepts they are proposing.
