Witch kitty
A legendary demon cat is said to haunt the Capitol Building in Washington, DC. The cat allegedly appears before major tragedies and was reportedly seen by White House guards shortly before both JFK and Abe Lincoln were assassinated. Though the cat hasn’t been seen in years, some say a set of paw prints in the floor by the Old Supreme Court Chamber are proof of its existence.

American protests are almost never legal and hardly ever peaceful and here's why.
As Americans we LOVE to brag about how were the "free-est" country ever. We have freedom of speech, freedom of religion and even the freedom to peacefully assemble and protest. Or do we? You see, peaceful assembly and protest is much more complicated than it seems. It SEEMS like you can just gather up a large group of people and take to the streets with signs and banners, but that's not legal. If the local police see you doing that they're going to tell you to break it up and go home and if you don't, things are going to turn ugly. They will justify this by telling you that you're disturbing the peace, blocking the sidewalks and interrupting traffic and that's if they give you any justification at all.
So what do you do? How do you protest legally? Well, on paper there is a very easy way around this. Simply go to your local police station and tell them you are going to organize a protest. If you do this, they will work with you to block off streets/sidewalks and make sure nobody gets hurt. Or at least that's what they're supposed to do. That's what it says they will do on paper. That's NOT what happens.
A very good portion of the time they will tell you no. They can't block off streets. It'll disrupt businesses. They can't block off sidewalks. Pedestrians will have nowhere to walk. Your protest holds no importance in their eyes. They see you as a disruption to society and they will tell you no. No, no, no, no, no.
So what do you do? How do you protest? You want your protest to be peaceful and legal. You want your protesters to stay as safe as possible. How do you protest now? Well, you don't. At least not legally and certainly not peacefully.
The truth is, no matter how peaceful your protest may be. It will rarely ever be legal and if it is not legal, it's only a matter of time before it stops being peaceful.
Police are denying us our right to protest and what's more. They're turning around and beating us down when we do so anyway.
People fight so hard for gun rights, for religious right, for free speech but what about our right to protest? Where did it go? How did it slide away so subtly without us even noticing? And why is nobody NOBODY as angry about it as they should be?
This used to be our right! Where did it do?

your average soulmates colour au except they hate what they see…….
based on this tweet jdhgsjkhdf
Look at Yachi. Now look at Saeko. Now look at Yachi. Now look at Saeko.
Notice how the shading on their hair is just slightly darker than their natural hair color
NOW LOOK AT FUCKING KENMA!!!
HE STRAIGHT UP JUST HAS BLACK STRANDS OF HAIR UNDERNEATH THE YELLOW THAT I'VE NEVER EVEN NOTICED BEFORE.
That is NOT shading my friends.
If he ever tied his hair up he'd literally just have the whole underside of his hair be black and it would be fucking beautiful.
(also please tell me I'm not the only person who JUST noticed this)

For books
Regular books at a bookstore typically cost anywhere from $10-$20 depending on who they're by, how long they are, etc, but let's face it. We all want to be brave. We all want to read random books, try out new authors or even see if we're interested in new genres but none of us want to waste $10-$20 on a book just for it to suck total ass. So what does one do?
Take that $10-$20 that you would have used for a brand new book and go hit up some yard sales. Yard sales typically have books for $0.50-$2, meaning that (if you bring $20) you can get anywhere from 10-40 books. All brand new stories that you can experience and if one of them happens to suck then it doesn't matter because you only spent a couple of bucks on it. Yard sales are great places to pick up old textbooks and dictionaries too!
My cat all day, every day:
Ah, I see you are wearing all black today. Certainly, you won't mind if I lay directly on top of you. Perhaps I could rub my furry face upon you. What's that? You have work in 30 minutes? Perfect!
As a fic writer, i need every reader to know that:
I don’t care if your comment is coherent. I know what you mean and i love you
I don’t care if you ramble. I read every word and i love you
I don’t care if you leave a comment on a fic from four years ago or leave comments/kudos on like ten of my fics in one go. This isn’t IG, pls stalk my AO3. I love you
I don’t care if you mention the same thing in your comment that four other people have already mentioned. It’s actually really useful to know what resonated with people and I love everyone who takes the time to tell me they liked a particular turn of phrase
I don’t mind if your comment is super long or just a couple of sentences, i love them all
I love you

When did you lost your virginity?
lady bracknell, i admit with shame that I do not know. i only wish i did. the plain facts of the case are these: on the morning of the day you mention, a day that is for ever branded on my memory, i prepared as usual to take my virginity out in its perambulator. i had also with me a somewhat old, but capacious hand-bag in which i had intended to place the manuscript of a work of fiction that i had written during my few unoccupied hours. in a moment of mental abstraction, for which i never can forgive myself, i deposited the manuscript in the basinette, and placed the virginity in the hand-bag. and i left it, god forgive me, in the cloakroom of one of the larger railway stations in london. victoria.. the brighton line. i lived for that regret ever since. i would never forgive myself.
i believe fervently that oscar wilde would laugh until he fell off his chair
i’m fucking dead
To lose one virginity might happen to anybody. To lose two looks like carelessness.
Hinata: what's a thot?
Tsukishima: it means a thoughtful person [later]
Hinata, to Sugawara: thank you for helping me Suga. You're such a thot
Sugawara, with Tsukishima and Yamaguchi wheezing in the background: I'm a what
FUCK. honestly just FUCK. We missed a very important day yesterday.
what was yesterday, cat?
I’m not missing it this year.
i just got this comment over on twitter and honestly i think this is one of my favorite things that has ever been said to me about writing
