Living for the design trope where Wemmbu looks noble and actually put together during the Zam Empire arc, and so subsequently homeless afterwards. Just the concept that he wanted to appear equal to Zam and saw status as a sign of/way to possess power; or that if Zam couldn't get Wemmbu to join her empire, he at least couldn't be seen working with some odd (actually not homeless at this point) guy who wasn't somewhat polished up.

Something about Parrot being a bird so his eyes are placed on the side and not at the front of the face because of the beak. Therefore symbolically he could only always look sideways/at whatâs next to him and never whatâs right in front of him ayyy
OKAy so this probably wasn't the original intent but this made me think of the vision of prey species, and that these birds have eyes on the sides of their heads so they have a wider fov. To better spot predators. And that Parrot has constantly been wanting to protect everyone from the dangers he perceives them to be in, regardless of the targets on his own back (which are so often directly in front of him).
On a similar-ish note? the implication that he then uses a spyglass (also used by sailors to look out for danger :O) to focus on things which are still further away so then he can't see what's happening in the present. Always stewing on his guilt and grief, mentally stuck there while disguising his actions as forward progression. Tunnel vision. That is, until he finally lets that go, along with Wifies.

It's free, it's completed, it has three LIs but most importantly it is a MMORPG simulator with bossfights, chats, videocalls and an storyline for each character you choose to pursue. I think I have played it five times by now, because it has a distinctive nostalgic vibe. There is no reason not to play it if you are even a bit interested. This game deserves so muchâ¤ď¸
