As for me, I'm on Chapter 15 and I've loved seeing more of the Patrova Taskforce because Stratt collects experts like Pokémon!! (feel bad for Leclerc, though 😬) It's made me like the movie even more because I understand just how good an adaptation it is. I picked up the book because I wanted more Rocky and Grace friendship shenanigans and that's exactly what I'm getting!!
My favorite part is all the science stuff being explaines in more detail!! I already liked all the down to earth (pun intended) science concepts in the movie and a friend told me the book goes deeper into that and that was when I knew I had to read it
I haven’t read much of the book yet, but so far I like them equally! Like yeah, the book has more *stuff* in it, but so far it seems like the movie people did a good job at deciding what got to make it in. Also the movie’s soundtrack/score and lighting were AMAZING (amaze amaze amaze) so that puts it back up equally with the book to me

Been working out (aka fixing stuff I made that didn’t make sense) the more science-y mechanics for time travel for one of my projects and ended up rereading The Sound Of Thunder by Ray Bradbury since it’s one of my favourite short stories and I did a doodle inspired by one of the lines

I usually have to force myself to read the first chapter or two of a book for me to care about it. Even if it has a great hook and it seems like something I’d really like I just don’t care about anything. Then usually around 20 pages in, without noticing, I start caring and I reach the stage of “my life feels empty without this book I must READDDDD”
Anyway, what I’m getting at, is people who say they don’t like to read might have just not gotten over the book hump in a while.
