in the US there are many designated RV parks & campgrounds. you have to sign a rental agreement with them to get long-term space there, but this is legal. many trailer parks will also allow RVs. it's typically illegal to just park your RV anywhere and decide that's your address. I don't know the exact statistics as of now, but A LOT of citizens live like this, until they can't. it's still possible to fall into the trap while living the RV life, the steps might look different but you can land in the same place (in prison for existing in an economic climate that is harmful to its people)
