I really like how Kon and Ri's ofuda we got shown on Twitter are sort of glimpses into their characters.

wild to me that taking at face value that kris is tma is like. controversial. or a "headcanon". when not only is it the most thematically coherent reading re: the weird route and their treatment and presentation around hometown vs their treatment and presentation in the dark world. but also we are literally living in a post-mancountry world. they put all this in the game. mancountry. a place that kris used to spend time in. and no longer does. and whose residents are judgemental towards this choice.

it definitely is erasure. I pretty much entirely stopped engaging with deltarune because of how people treat transfem ralsei headcanons. which yes definitely are headcanons in a way transfem kris isn't really (it's pretty textual as you say), but it's obviously a reflection of the same trend. I used to have a ralsei profile picture when I was younger and used they/them pronouns, and still have some accounts named after her, but if I express that ralseis experiences align very directly with mine, to the extent of informing my own relationship to gender, I will be laughed out of the room for erasing "femboys"

I've known a number of non binary people in my life and I think single biggest conclusion I can draw from that is that non binary people are not the same. Like if Men fit in box A and women fit in box B, people really, really want nonbinary people to fit in a theoretical box C, and it just doesn't work like that. They are outside the boxes. They defy any simple categorization because they are not a third way of being, but every other possible way of being.
