The longer I live in this country, the more glad I am that I’m basically too old to have kids, so at least part of this bullshit won’t affect me. Even if I wasn’t too old, I’d be seriously considering going abroad to have my tubes ties (because that’s illegal here, too!), because the idea of raising a child in a country like this fills me with absolute terror.
