I LOVE DMD!!

Ok so back in the olden days the personal computer, the Internet and the world wide web were created. Yes…….the World Wide Web and the Internet are two different things. During this time there was an excess of information being poured into the web.everyone wanted to get their businesses on the web, instant message over email or sharing information on certain findings with someone else. However not many people were able to access it. Stuff made in America couldn’t be accessed by people in other countries and sometimes even by the people in America. The web was made so that people and other companies were able to share new information and findings with each other and the personal computer was made to access this info. In the world there is an abundance of information that is off limits to majority of the people on the web. So many key info in society and the world is kept from us and is manipulated for users to believe……was the web really created for everyone to have access to everything?

Also Big companies were creating huge computers that did crazy algorithms and many other things without the need of a human operator. These computers were no joke….they were on another lever from the basic computer,some believed them to be “artificial intelligence”. In the movie Tron(1982) and The Matrix(1999) they encountered a similar element artificial intelligence. And not being able to access all the information that is put out there on the World Wide Web. In Tron it was a rogue mainframe and In The Matrix it was the agents that were artificial intelligence that so happened kept information away from other people. It is said that artificial intelligence is created by humans but they end up surpassing or capabilities. In society today there are artificial intelligence all around us and people are trying to stop the creation of more or better intelligence for the fear of what happened in Tron and The Matrix. In those shows the AI took hold of all the valuable information on the web and tried to enslave the human race. Of course tho in the movies they lost and the humans won.

The way these movies and the rise of the personal computer, the World Wide Web and the Internet are all related in the sense that information was made for everyone to share and learn. And that artificial intelligence was created to help mankind. I understand that there are somethings that should be left unsaid and the common people should not know about however if this info is put on the Internet it’s fair game. The web was created and it was created so people could equally access info, but in theses movies it shows when too much information is hoarded by one being it can bring corruption and the the world we know it can chance. So watch out soon we might all have to fight in the matrix or escape from a programmable world line Tron.
