I remember watching this case in real time, and had just experienced my own SA & fucking psychological warfare from a man I was involved with the year prior. I was never heavily involved in the trial, only seeing mainstream stuff online, including all the smear campaign bullshit & fucked up memes people were contributing to. I remember watching my friends, FAMILY MEMBERS, post online these same heretics, talk about how amber heard was a big fat liar & Johnny Depp was an innocent, broken 'little boy'. And I still didn't fall for it??? I'm sorry - but Johnny Depp... Johnny fucking Depp the known alcoholic?? The man with a history of substance & abuse & outrages while intoxicated??? The a list hollywood fuckinh celebrity who is best mates with MARYILYN FUCKING MANSON????????? oh my god I literally felt like I was going crazy ... I remember thinking where are peoples critical thinking skills? Statistics show AOD issues are brought up in the 50% of reported DV call outs, and are suspected to be in a hell of a lot more (at least in my country) of the ones that AREN'T reported. They have a 20 year AGE GAP???????? like c'mon people think. Use your beautiful brains - the shit you see on your algorithm isn't always true, believe it or not. In fact - the majority of it is fake?? Like I cannot comprehend that we as a society are all this stupid?? No one fuckinh fact checks anything. No one does a double take. Everyone is fed something & just nods along uhuh yeah - even when evidence shows them otherwise (&by hell - There is A LOT. If U want sources I will give them to you). I felt sick to my stomach watching Amber heard testify being sexually assaulted with a bottle & the emotions she's going through just re telling that story. And then people were mocking her for it, saying it was fake and she's a bad actor or even if it is real it's not that bad... Makes me sick. Makes me so fucking sick. GROWN ADULTS??? DOING THIS TOO??? God fuckinh forbid a woman speaks up against her abuser. God fucking forbid a victim tries to express their opinion in an opinion piece where you don't even NAME your abuser, nor DESCRIBE THEM. & The fact that she is still kind. She still takes pictures with people on street, is polite and respectful with them. I won't even speak to my own blood because they told me they thought I was over exaggerating my SA & making it up. And the entire world turned against her.
