man. If I had a nickel for every time Ryan Gosling was in a film that used color theory in a really intentional and beautiful way that isn’t super common in today’s media, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s really cool that it happened twice.

*sighs and slumps forward in chair* aaaand the question comes back to haunt me…

so. I’ve done a lot of thinking about this. At first I thought that since only eridian carapaces are made of a material that is rock-like, so my answer was “technically, but it would be like the equivalent of bloodbending and be pretty difficult”.

and then I learned a bit more about eridian biology and realized that most of an eridian is made out of nonliving, rocky material. Also, their blood is made of mercury and their brain is made of crystal, and so I thought “just how much of an eridian could an earthbender mess with??????”

as for xenonite I’m not quite sure, so for now my answer is the same reason that firebenders can bend lightning: it would be possible if it was cool 😎

Life Series in Bannerfall AU! this is purely vibes and, while not intentional, somehow Martyn and Scott didn't change at ALL

okay so I spent way too long conceptualizing about this, so I thought I would share:

Lizzie’s a nature mage w/ fae vibes

I made Gem a lil rogue instead because I think she enjoys playing those and I wanted to make the classes even

Also kinda because of this, Cleo would start out a knight but become a necromancy mage later for story reasons

Although Scar would probably benefit from having a rogue quirk that prevented fall damage, I thought that he wouldn’t think of this and have something else

Grian would 100% be an arcane trickster and have WAY too much fun with it

In the blue kingdom on the first monarch election, everyone would unanimously decide that Etho should be king and he would be wildly unprepared for it

on lore-heavy smps, particularly youtube ones like Vampires SMP, there seems to be a sort of HOA-style limitation on builds, or at the very least the lore focus or combat focus draws the players attention away from building quite a bit. and i propose!!! lore heavy smp where players can build offline / record speedbuilds if they like, with zero care for the historical accuracy or matching the smp's theming, imagine vampires smp if between episodes 4 and 5 someone built the burj khalifa, imagine life series if people had megabases spring up between sessions, or the characters just build that shit on screen over the course of the series, yeah there's the death games where we kill eachother for sport and its horrifying, however i have redstone electrical circuitry to install into my mansion, so i will do that whilst i mourn my allies
