What if Katara and Zuko had their first child by accident?
When Katara finds out she's pregnant, she's nervous to tell Zuko, since they didn't plan it and she has no idea how he's going to react (we all know, though).
When she does tell Zuko, it looks like this:
Katara (nervous): Zuko, please don't react to what I'm about to say...
Zuko (frowns): what's wrong?
Katara (takes a deep breath): I'm pregnant.
Zuko (freezes and stares at her for a few seconds, then picks her up and spins her around laughing, gently pressing his forehead against her still-flat abdomen): I'm going to be a dad! Spirits I've never been happier in my entire life.
Katara (relieved, mock-offended): excuse me? What about the day we got married?
Zuko: nah, this is so much better. (freezes) Not that the day I married you wasn't the happiest day of my life at the time...
Katara (kisses him): just kidding.
Later that evening, when they're in their bed.
Zuko: my dear, why were you so nervous about telling me?
Katara (sighs): I mean, we didn't plan this...
Zuko: the best surprise of my life.
He pulls her closer against his side.
Katara (curls up against him): hmm... I feel like eating fire flakes for tomorrow breakfast...
Zuko: I'll have someone fetch them for you first thing in the morning.
When they tell the rest of the Gaang + Iroh + Ursa + Hakoda + Kanna + Pakku, the reactions range from:
Suki: what are you naming it?
Aang: that's so cool! The kid is lucky already!
Ursa: Let me know when you'll need help setting up the nursery.
Kanna: I'll stitch some fur blankets for you first thing I get back to my hut.
Iroh: ahh, see nephew? Destiny is a funny thing.
Pakku (smiles): well, that'll be an interesting thing to watch.
Hakoda (grins): you two don't waste time, do you?
Toph (throws a fist in the air): FINALLY! a badass steambaby!
Sokka: you should name him Sokka Junior. It's a good, strong name. Make sure he carries it with pride.
