Kusakabe Relationship Headcanons

On contrary to his personality at work, Kusakabe is much softer to his s/o. He's less snappy and becomes a bit more relaxed around them (he's still strict on the hygiene part because it's important)

Being a bodyguard can be demanding so he tends to keep his work and private affairs seperate. He won't talk about his work too much, but he secretly loves to hear you talk about your day, no matter how mundane it must seem to you.

One of the only things of his job that he shares with you are the potential devil locations. Kusakabe, will repeat and repeat the locations to you multiple times before he leaves because man's just scared to see you get hurt.

He's not big on PDA, he has an official image to maintain. The most he'll do is cross-link your hands or put an arm around your waist. No kisses tho, he's pretty reserved about that!

Kusakabe's favorite past time with his s/o would be doing domestic chores together. He prefers staying indoors but also loves to go on calming walks or shopping. He barely gets time out of his job, so he just wants to spend his free time with you as much as he can.

He's also big on gift-giving. Doesn't buy you flowers or stuff like that because he thinks they're impractical. But will buy you anything else - clothes, accessories and food from the places he goes for work. His fashion sense isn't exactly the best but the clothes he gets are always comfortable to wear (like I said, the man's practical)

He wouldn't ask for a gift back, but seeing you go out your way to buy him smth - like gloves for cold weather or any accessory absolutely melts his heart.

"You didn't need to have gotten this, but.. Thank you", it'll be one of those moments where he sports a tiny warm smile before leaning in for a soft kiss.

Will always treat your gifts as his lucky charm after that

Kobeni making the first move

Kobeni usually prefers to be on the receiving side, even if she doesn't voice it out, but she'll be more than happy to initiate, albeit awkwardly at the start with tons of reassuring.

"A-am I doing this okay? (Y/n), tell me if you don't find it good please. .? "

However, there are times when she might make a move on her own, either due to jealousy or simply unconsciously. She gets insecure a lot but it becomes too much when someone she KNOWS is more successful than her flirts with her.

"Miss makima was flirting with you today.. ", Kobeni said quietly as she wrapped her hands along your waist.

"Really? I haven't noticed.."

Kobeni huffed as she brought you closer, it's a habit of hers, bringing your bodies so close you could just meld together. Her hand snaked over your thighs alarmingly close between the space between them. You gasped as you looked at Kobeni in anticipation.

".. Don't talk to her please? "

"I won't, I promise", you kissed Kobeni as she hummed from the sudden action, before promptly wrapping her hands around your neck and pulling you close.

I also feel like she'll ease into her making a move first much more easily after fighting a devil. Her senses and instincts are still pretty on edge and she can get easily riled up.

"K-kobeni what's gotten into you today? ", you stammered out as Kobeni kissed into the skin joining your neck and shoulders, her grip on your arms, tighter, as her teeth nipped lightly at your skin.

"... I had a hard day today (y/n).. ", you heard her say meekly, her voice a sharp contrast to her actions.

"I want you to.. stay close to me today", whispering this, Kobeni pressed her body even more closer as she looked at you before kissing you breathlessly, one that you complied with, pleasantly surprised.

Overall I think as the time passes, she'll become more and more bolder with her moves, but it's gonna take a while considering the kind of life she lives.
