The hate group is sending cisgender men into women's restooms after the retail chain stood by its trans-supportive bathroom policy.
As more states consider legislation that would force transgender people to use the wrong bathrooms, Target recently announced that it would welcome trans people to use whatever bathroom at the store makes them feel safe and comfortable. Anti-LGBT conservatives are furious.
So furious, in fact, that theyâre basically modeling the exact situation theyâre so afraid of. The American Family Association, for example, has been enlisting cisgender men to enter the womenâs bathrooms at Target to âtestâ the policy.Â
And elsewhere in the country, there have already been reports of men following women into bathrooms to âcheckâ their gender, based on their presentation.Â
Sandy Rios, AFAâs director of governmental affairs, revealed its new anti-LGBT tactic in a Monday radio interview with Breitbart News.
âWeâve already had people testing this, going into Targets and men trying to go into bathrooms. There is absolutely no barrier,â she told host Stephen Bannon, who said âdecent, hard-working people who donât want their 4-year-old daughter to have to go into a bathroom with a guy with a beard in a dress.â
âThe chief concern, even more than just, I think, trauma, certainly for little girls of having men dressed like women coming in their bathrooms, the chief concern of the American Family Association is the predators who will take advantage,â Rios concluded.
WHO IS THE REAL PROBLEM HERE?Â
The logic of the AFA is such shit. They donât want âmenâ in womenâs restrooms and yetâŚâŚ.. they send men into womenâs restrooms??? And theyâre following women into bathrooms to make sure theyâre âreal womenâ like I wish they would try to clock me on my way to take a piss.
