Jewelpet Attack Travel!

Today's is a very special release!

We are finally releasing Jewelpet Attack Travel. This is a movie/OVA that has quite a story behind it. Originally it was announced to be released as a co-release with the movie "Kukurireiju: Sanseitai Denki" on theaters. However, COVID happened and both movies were shelved, with only Attack Travel eventually being released as an extra in Jewelpet Sunshine's 10th anniversary special BD release on 2022. We bought that BD and had the movie sitting on our "pending releases" for the last few years, and we finally got a chance to work on it. The "movie" (we call it that way as it was supposed to release on theaters) is only 22 minutes, so basically an episode long. It is very clearly based on Jewelpet Sunshine, but there's not much that can be considered a spoiler, just a few cameos.

There is some effects here and there that we had a lot of fun working on, and some others that were quite a chore, but the result is incredible and we are quite happy of the results.

This release makes for the last Jewelpet media that required to be translated. As of now, every single anime piece of Jewelpet has been translated into english, so it is a good time to start watching!

Hamtaro OVA 1999 - Revamped

Ham-ha, everyone!

Today is a very special day, as it is Hamtaro and Cappy's birthday!

As such, today is the biggest day for us Hamtaro fans, and so we have to celebrate!

Sadly, this year the celebration is going to be kept short, due the increase of monthly episodes, we haven't had much time to work on the special revamps or projects we like to do for this birthday, and this summer has been specially warm so that has destroyed all our motivation.

However, we have managed to revamp a big project!

The Hamtaro 1999 OVA is, as you may know, a special OVA that was sold exclusively on VHS as a pilot to the anime series, and it is tremendously different from the actual show we ended up watching and loving.

Some years ago, thanks to your support, we were able to adquire a copy of the 1999 VHS and rip it; but as it is a VHS, the quality of the conversion took a hit.

One of our community members, DimfStapler, re-encoded the 1999 OVA with his own copy which was in much better quality than the existing raw, so we thought it was a good chance to make a revamp!

As usual with these, there's not a lot of big big changes, but we did fix some sentences that were wrong and improved the translation on a lot of them, so we think it is worth a rewatch, specially today!
