Greek Gods Legacy Challenge!
Here it is! The not so long awaited challenge! This is gonna be quite the long legacy, 15 generations! Also, you don’t have to put the sims in other households, you can just have all the sims have kids. You can make the gods and goddesses look modern. If you have more than one kid, name them after Greek heroes, deities, or minor gods! Or give them Greek names. Anyways let’s get started!
Generation one, Hestia: Rhea and Kronos’ first born daughter. Hestia is the goddess of the hearth, home, and family. In her eyes, family is above all. She swore off men and vowed never to have children. Though for this challenge we’re gonna twist that a little. Something happened and she ended up pregnant.
Have the ‘Successful Lineage’ aspiration.
Have the family oriented, unflirty, and loner traits.
You can get whatever job you want, but I’d suggest trying to get one, that goes with Hestia’s theme. (Culinary would be your best bet. )
never date or get married, when you have the baby, just don’t ask him to be your boyfriend.
master the parenting and cooking skills (gourmet skill included).
Only have one kid, by accident. (risky woohoo is ideal, or you could try for a baby just don’t use a pregnancy test)
Have at least one fireplace in your home, and make sure its always lit. I’d put it in the dining room or where everybody always is, since Hestia’s hearth is usually where everybody gathers.
Generation two, Demeter: Demeter is the goddess of the harvest and the fertility of the earth. She has a daughter named Persephone, who Hades kidnapped and made her live with him in the underworld. Again, gonna have to twist it a little bit. Persephone goes missing!
Have the ‘Freelance Botanist’ Aspiration.
Have the loves the outdoors traits, vegetarian, and outgoing traits.
Mater the gardening, flower arranging and herbalism skills.
Have a HUGE garden with bee boxes.
Have two daughters, and the oldest, Persephone, go missing when she’s a teen. (Don’t kill her, put her in a different household and make sure she stays a teenager. We need her later.)
The other daughter is Hera, the next heir. HEIRA!
Generation three, Hera: Hera is the wife and sister of Zeus, and goddess of marriage, family (to a lesser extent than Hestia), and childbirth. She is the last born girl for quite some time. She somehow manages to have a son all by herself, that kid is Hephaestus. He ended up being so ugly that she threw him off Mount Olympus. Once again gonna twist it. She had more kids to cover it up.
Have the ‘Soulmate’ Aspiration.
Have the family oriented, jealous, and perfectionist traits.
Master the charisma and parenting skills.
Have as many kids as you want just the first one should be ideally unattractive. The next one should be Hades. (you can have more if you’d like)
Move Hephaestus out as young as he can be, preferably a toddler but I have to check if that’s possible, if not, a teenager is the next best thing.
Generation four, Hades: Hades is the god of the Underworld. Some say he’s actually the god of death, but that’s actually Thanatos. He fell in love with Persephone and ended up kidnapping her and making her his wife, but that’s weird since she’s technically his great aunt, so we’re not gonna do that.
Have ‘Public Enemy’ as the aspiration.
Have mean, loner, and gloomy as his traits.
Master the mischief skill.
Have as many kids as you’d like just make sure the oldest son ends up being the heir.
Generation five, Poseidon: Poseidon is the god of the sea, earthquakes and horses. He is the last one that Kronos ate, the Zeus came and helped them. In reality Zeus came and made Kronos barf his older siblings up, but that’s a story for another time. I’m very tempted to name one of his kids Percy–
Have the ‘Angling Ace’ aspiration.
Have the loves the outdoors, bro, and outgoing traits.
Master the fishing skill.
Have at least three fish tanks and five mounted fish.
Have as many kids as you’d like, again, make the oldest son the next heir.
Generation six, Zeus: Zeus is the god of the sky and thunder. he made his dad, Kronos barf up his older siblings, Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon. He dated many women behind Hera’s back and had a lot of kids with them, most ended up as heroes, like Perseus and Heracles.
Have the ‘Hopeful Romantic’ aspiration
Have the non-committal, hothead, and romantic traits.
Master the charisma skill.
Never marry and have at least one kid with every girlfriend.
Control the goddamn weather with the weather machine!
Have one of said girlfriends have twins. One girl and one boy. when they become teens they can meet Zeus. They should never talk to him prior.
Generation seven, Persephone: Persephone is Demeter’s daughter that Hades kidnapped. She is the goddess of spring and queen of the Underworld. When she was kidnapped Demeter was enraged, making no crops grow and wither.
Have the ‘Freelance Botanist’ aspiration, just like her mother.
Have the loves the outdoors, vegetarian, and cheerful traits, also like her mother.
Master the herbalism and gardening, flower arranging skills.
Own a florist shop and mainly sell your flower arrangements. (look for one on the gallery or make your own. There js one called ‘Persephone’s Flower shop’ by lordkiribati I believe.)
You can have kids, just none of them can be heirs. (we’re bringing back Hephaestus!)
Generation eight, Hephaestus: After being thrown off Mount Olympus by Hera, Hephaestus is the god of fire, metalworking, stone masonry, forges and the art of sculpture. He was the son of Zeus and Hera and married to Aphrodite by Zeus to prevent a war of the gods fighting for her hand. He was a smithing god, making all of the weapons for Olympus and acting as a blacksmith for the gods.
Have the ‘Curator’ aspiration.
Have the loner, perfectionist, and slob traits.
Not mandatory, but if you’d like, you can have a workshop. Also try and keep all of your woodworking things.
If Hera is still alive, have him meet her.
If you want, have kids. None of them will be heir though.
Generation nine, Artemis: Artemis is the twin sister of Apollo. She swore off men and became the goddess of the hunt, moon and protector of young girls. she is often depicted with a stag and with a silver bow. She loves animals and protects them at all costs. She’s also my favourite
Have the ‘Friends of the Animals’ aspiration.
Have the loner, unflirty, and loves the outdoors traits.
Master the fitness, veterinarian (if you have C&D), and herbalism skills.
Never date or have kids. If you want you can have pets.
Generation ten, Apollo: Apollo is the twin brother of Artemis. Unlike his sister he’s very flashy and is always the center of attention! He is the god of the sun, music, poetry, and medicine. He is often depicted with a golden bow, and lyre.
Have the ‘Friend of the World’ aspiration.
Have the outgoing, music lover, and bro traits.
Master at least two instrument skills, along with singing, and writing.
Have as many kids as you want, oldest girl should be the heir.
Generation eleven, Aphrodite: Aphrodite is the goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation. Her son is Eros, who is Cupid. She had to marry Hephaestus in order to stop a war, but she was so repulsed by him she had an ongoing affair with Ares, the god of war.
Have the ‘Hopeless Romantic’ aspiration.
Have the romantic, snob, and jealous traits.
Master the charisma skill.
Have as many kids as you want, the first born boy should be Ares.
Generation twelve, Ares: Ares is the god of war. Ares represents the violent and physical untamed aspect of war, which is in contrast to Athena who represents military strategy and generalship as the goddess of intelligence.
Have the ‘Bodybuilder’ aspiration.
Have the active, hothead, and self assured traits.
Master the fitness skill.
Either go to the gym everyday or have a gym at home.
Have one kid that you rarely talk to.
Generation thirteen, Athena: Athena is a very important goddess of many things. She is goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill. She was born right out of Zeus’ head! She’s usually depicted with an owl, a war helmet, and with striking grey eyes.
Have the ‘Renaissance Sim‘ aspiration.
Have the genius, bookworm, and perfectionist (or geek) traits.
Master the logic, writing, handiness, and archeology (if you have it, if not choose whatever one you want. try to keep her theme though.) skills.
Join either the business, writer, painting, scientist careers.
Have one kid named Hermes.
Generation fourteen, Hermes: Hermes was messenger of the gods and god of trickery, mischief, and boundaries. He is depicted with a caduceus. People often say because of the caduceus he’s also the god of medicine, but they confuse him with Apollo.
Have the ‘Chief of Mischief’ aspiration.
Have the kleptomaniac, outgoing and ambitious traits.
Master the mischief, logic, and comedy skills.
Join the business career.
Have as many kids, the first son is Dionysus.
Generation fifteen, Dionysus: Dionysus is the god of the grape harvest, winemaking and wine, of ritual madness, fertility, theatre and religious ecstasy. If you’ve seen photos of him, he usually has grape vines around him.
Have the ‘Party Animal’ aspiration.
Have the erratic, childish, and slob traits.
Master the comedy, charisma, dancing and mixology skills. (if you don’t have the dancing skill leave it out.)
Have kids if you want, it’s the last generation!
