Functional Mess

THIS IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION IT'S OLD (FROM 2023) BUT I'M LEAVING RANDOM BITS THAT ARE STILL RELEVANT ISH FOR THE TIME BEING

Welcome to my Oasis! Or my writblr. I prefer Oasis though.

My old intro was super outdated and I've decided to take time to revamp my entire writblr account because it really did not reflect me at all. Now it does!

First up. My name. It is Eve. I am 24 years old and I go by she/they pronouns.

Type of Writing: I like to write a lot about what it means to be a monster and the concept of good vs. evil. And I like to read and write tragedies. Also queer as hell shit because what else.

My biggest writer inspirations are: Sui Ishida, V.E. Schwab, Kafka, Tracy Deonn. And I love existential meanders like No Exit by Jean-Paul Sartre. (That's not to say those are my only favorite writers I have a lot more less pretentious ones but my inspo makes me seem pretentious- I'm aware.)

Genre: I typically stick with dark urban fantasy with dashes of horror for good luck. I don't have the mind for a high fantasy.

and i realize I have to change a specific detail that will alter how the one character behaves quite a bit. and also changes how I present a subsection of the section I'm working on.

But the entire section is like 22500 words so I'd have to backtrack hella to fix it and i'm not sure how much or in what way that will impact the current part i'm at and how it proceeds. (could very well be a hefty impact. but i don't know exactly what the one character will do in the rewrite because i haven't seen that version of him in action yet.)

Is I can only hyperfocus on one hobby at a time. So I'll binge write like crazy and read nothing for weeks until my writing becomes so rubbish (from lack of fuel of not seeing the fiction written word in any one else's voice) that I have to hyperfocus on reading and do absolutely no writing until I become exceptionally bored by the act of reading.

so like do i power through the next 1600?? maybe.
