opinions on my hc of polites being epileptic? his seizures would be most often caused by strong emotions (instead of the more known photosensitivity), so in canon era he would end up assuming its the gods "punishing" him for his anger, fear, etc. and therefore in order to avoid that he becomes the chill guy we see him as

also imagine during the boar hunt, the boar goes to attack polites, the fear triggers a seizure, and that's why ody has to jump between them to save him

(also ody having chronic leg pain from the boar hitting him and being a part-time cane user. but hes not the focus here)
