Inequalities
Disability affects more than 1 in 4 (28.7%) adults in the United States. Disability inclusion is:β
Including people with disabilities in everyday activities.β
Creating accessible environments.β
Creating equitable opportunities that support people in holding roles similar to their peers who do not have a disability.
βBeing considered a naive young girl who doesnβt know whatβs good for her is better than being considered a monster that needs to be killedβ I knew a trans guy who kept getting institutionalised and essentially tortured for expressing his gender identity. I know other trans men who were considered too broken to save so they were honour-killed or locked away in the dark. Can we just admit that neither category affords human beings much grace at all
boring dot com forward slash bullshit
You're not a butch lover/supporter if you don't support butches of color and disabled butches btw

begging fellow nonblack people to take antiblackness seriously. this includes digital blackface. why are all your memes and reaction images depicting Black people showing any sort of emotion. why do you find it acceptable to use AAVE as a "joke". remove your head from your ass and ponder that for a moment.
I was skimming my copy of Gender Outlaws: TNG to find a different essay and got reminded of Julia Serano's contribution and the way it unabashedly opens with the same misconstrued hatred of Judith Butler's work (of course without naming Butler) and how much she hates the way nonbinary people talk about gender as a social construct while real transsexuals struggle and how actually nonbinary cissexuals are soooooo privileged compared to real transsexuals because nonbinary people are like white people who say they don't see race.
Everytime a contemporary binary trans person goes on and on about how nonbinary people have a "queerer than thou" attitude I blame Serano. Genuinely. With all of the theory and essays I've read she always seems to be the main source of this distrust and dislike of people who express genderfuckery and obviously socially ostracized nonbinary queerness by binary trans people. She's one of the biggest modern perpetuators of exorsexism in transfeminism of the last 2 decades and it makes me ill.
Like I'm sorry but why, as a nonbinary transsexual, should I ever trust the opinion of a binary woman who 1. cannot conceive of a nonbinary transsexual even existing and 2. is a white woman who compares nonbinary people to racists???????????
Why should I ever trust that!!!!!!
It's just frustrating. I mentioned in a server I'm in that the way Serano writes about nonbinary people and performativity theory is the way I used to talk about nonbinary people and performativity when I was deep in transmedicalism, and the friend I came out of transmedicalism alongside agreed - that's how he felt at the time too. Which makes sense, because frankly, Serano is a transmedicalist.
She values "real" transsexual experiences over "fake" nonbinary experiences and places them in a hierarchy that values binary gender conformity over everything else. That is at the very least truscummy, but is also frankly, transmed as hell. It's so very.... ~nonbinary people are stealing resources and community space from real transsexuals.~
People keep saying "Read Whipping Girl!! Read Whipping Girl!!" where she lays out these frankly transmed opinions in full, and then we wonder why there is still a pervasive issue with transmedicalism and exorsexism in our communities.
White people will watch some idiotβs ugly cartoon and then commit a hate crime if you arenβt into it
And youβll ask them hey is the cartoon even good and theyβll say βno but itβs Importantβ.
And itβs not even important

Hey, chat! Do I have paranoid psychosis or do people actually stop to look at me when I pass on the street?
Unfortunately both.
it bothers me when someone brings up misogyny in shounen anime and people shrug it off with "its designed for teenage boys, what can you expect." like well. idk i think its actually pretty important that shows for teenage boys are normal about women. i mean i think all media should be normal about women but teenagers are impressionable i think we could put a little bit of feminism in the teenage boy shows. it might do some good. you never know.
As someone who has watched many trans Native brothers disappear from the community without even a word or report, I genuinely despise the white trans women who want to say that they're somehow oppressed by Native trans men and trans men of color. At least your death will be passed around in the wider community and you'll have people defending you. Meanwhile I'll never see the greatest people in my life again because the government will never acknowledge the disappearances of Indigenous folk. Because unless their fellow Native trans siblings and family say something, none of you give a shit. There is no privilege in being treated like you never existed to begin with.
I'm alive!

U.S. Counties where the African American population is 25% or more
Remember this map next time some liberal starts talking about just writing off the entire south.
In a lot of ways this is WHY the south is disenfranchised
and thats not to mention the massive latine and indigenous populations, which only get larger to the west of that red region. the south is the most racially diverse area of the country but ppl still act like its just 100% white racists (who do u think suffers from their racism????)
