Man tbh I feel like the mtg community kinda gets stereotyped into the whole "sweaty, akshually, rude" archetype unfairly because every interaction I have with them whether in person or on Reddit, they're generally really nice, respectful, and eager to get new people into the game.
Like honestly, every experienced mtg player I've met has looked at a new player and been like "oh you're interested? Here's a deck I made or here's a bunch of cards so you can build a deck that fits you" at no cost to the newbie
