i hardly ever open tumblr anymore oops sorry to anyone who actually still follows me for the 2 (two) whole things i do on this site which is 87% reblogging nonsense that makes me laugh and sometimes a drawing i dont hate at some point i might use tumblr again but for the time being with the way they’re implementing the new policies i dont really even wanna bother. the idea of purging nsfw in itself is frustrating but understandable, i just can't stand how how little they care about their users suggestions when making any decisions and how perpetually shitty their nsfw detection system is. it seems like a lot of the main social media platforms are starting to finally fall to shambles. i remember when youtube wasnt a thing and when skype was a newfound treasure we were scared of losing, but shit comes and goes and that applies to websites too. eventually something’ll take their place like it always does and until then i cant really be bothered putting to much energy into things that’ve gone so much to shit. tumblr purged nsfw content and violently ignores their users’ opinions and suggestions, instagram’s way of enforcing their policies is ineffective the majority of the time and sometimes so absurd you’d think it premeditated, deviantart is still just greedy and cares more about being New and Hip then actually listening to anything any users have to say, and youtube (as usual) is still dishing out copyright strikes and demonetization on everyone who breathes, and continues to have one of the most out of control commenting system with nearly no enforced rules (ive been on yt for 10+ years and in those years of my life ive gotten in enough volatile debates to get me banned on legit any other site in like 3 days. i still actively get in dumbass altercations purely because no matter how many insults or slurs people throw out, there’s no consequences for them and equally there’s no consequence for how i chose to respond lol)
