I’ve been seeing a lot about having a word of the year - and never really thought about it until now, as I’m finalizing my intentions for 2019. . I think I threw out the word “accountability” the first time I gave it a teensy big of thought, but the more I dream about what I want my year to look like, I realize I need to change my word. . The cool thing about having a word to focus on is that it reminds us to keep pushing towards the thing that is driving us to go farther, reach for more, and to dream bigger. . So, this year, the word I’m focusing on is ACTION . Action because it will remind me to move. It will remind to complete the task I don’t feel like doing at the moment. It will push me out of my comfort zone, and that is what I need the most right now -to be pushed. . I have a huge dream for the blog that I’m creating, and I have faith that what I can’t stop thinking about is going to come to fruition faster with this focus word. . That one time when I was lucky enough to capture Saguaro flowers in Arizona. . When I sit and reminisce on where I’ve been since going tiny, my heart overflows with gratitude. Because of that one decision, I’ve opened the doors to new experiences I would t have otherwise had. .
