Very light sleeper at the beginning bc trauma. Eventually gets to the point where he sleeps deep enough that the nightmares donβt come and he sleeps through the night.
Survives off of 4-5 hours of sleep. Stays awake until almost midnight. No one knows how heβs still alive.
Could be either a morning person or a night owl. All depends on what case theyβre working on and the needs that come with it. He adjusts his schedule to the case and makes it work.
Adding to that, he loves to be awake when the rest of the world is asleep. Whether thatβs day or night is irrelevant.
Twice a year he sleeps almost a day straight. Crystal calls it his βfactory resetβ. Charles will wake him up to eat something before letting him go back to sleep.
Edwin is especially needy during this time and will not fall back asleep unless Charles is in bed with him.
Likes to be a night owl, but loves watching the sunrise in the morning on the rooftop.
HEAVY sleeper. This boy doesnβt wake up for anything that isnβt imminent danger. He wakes up naturally or not at all.
Except when heβs sleeping next to Edwin. If Edwin leaves for whatever reason, Charles wakes up to find him.
It doesnβt matter how much sleep he gets at night. Charles is up and at βem once heβs out of bed.
After a long case, Charles will collapse on the sofa for a power nap. These can last anywhere from 20 minutes to 4 hours.
He has to make sure his bag-of-tricks and cricket bat are within reach before letting himself sleep. Itβs his routine and he cannot sleep without doing it.
The most irregular sleep schedule out of everyone. Up at odd hours, naps in the middle of the day, all-nighters 2-3 times a week.
Always has some sort of caffeinated beverage with her (coffee, energy drinks, etc.). Edwin hates the habit but always keeps some of her favorites on hand if she needs them.
Night owl 100%. Hates waking up early for school. Sheβs very grateful most of their cases happen during the nighttime.
Her room has to be freezing cold for her to sleep. Anything more than 65F is too warm. Sheβll pile two blankets on top of her, but will end up kicking one of them off the bed in her sleep.
Heavy sleeper as well. Sheβll wake up if you shake her but she will not be happy. Sheβll spend the rest of the day being grouchy until she can sleep again.
Peaceful sleeper. Sleeps like the dead π
Will usually read or watch a cartoon before bed. It gives her good material to create imaginary scenarios to fall asleep to.
No one can tell is she slept well or not. Sheβs always bubbly and doesnβt show any signs of exhaustion. She could stay awake for 2 days straight and no one would be able to tell the difference.
After the two days, sheβs like a gremlin. A bubbly cute gremlin, but a gremlin.
Morning person 100%. Sheβs the one to wake up Crystal every morning. Sheβs the only one who can do it would fear of death.
9 hours a day. No exceptions. In bed by 10, up by 8.
Scolds the kids for their sleeping habits but is lowkey terrified of them.
Preferred night owl, but vet strict about getting enough sleep. Girl needs a break from freaky magic stuff.
I think heβll just keep going until heβs tired, at least as a human.
Can and will sleep anywhere and wonβt wake up until heβs ready.
12 hours minimum. Queen needs her beauty sleep.
Eye mask, silk sheets, noise machine, the whole shebang. Her bedroom is like a sleep therapists playground.
