Please consider reblogging this/other positivity posts for schizophrenic/psychotic people every once in a while. If you have more than 100 followers, odds are that a couple of them experiences psychosis and that they rarely see positivity posts for people with their symptoms.

To be honest even the idea of punishment is not really helpful if we want to get rid of the bad behaviour. We have to understand the source and fix it. Punishing people isn't gonna make it go away. Giving people access to resources allowing them to not resort to commit crimes is the thing that will help decrease the number of victims. Which is the thing that bothers radfems and a lot of feminists: we have to help men to fix society. Not punish them. Not torture them. Help, with empathy and all.

i used to live in st. john’s, nl, and, in late spring to early summer, it was not uncommon for a giant iceberg to float slowly by just outside the harbor. they would mention it on the news and radio. they took hours or, sometimes, days to go by. and, when it happened, it would make the whole town colder.. like ice in a glass of water. and, sometimes,… they would groan. as they passed.
