I've never been a good writer, sometimes I wonder if I'm even creative at all and if I'm just decent at drawing.

I've only completed 2 books in the past 3 years, before that I hadn't read much at all since high school. Maybe the occasional fic, article- Id start a book series then get annoyed that it was turned into a movie/show (for some reason) and I wouldnt read the book anymore (I have no idea why) I think I'm lacking in the 'comprehensive' department and I've never been good at having a start and an end to a story or even knowing how to built a plot- but at the same time if you do a fic based off of an existing franchise it helps but also limits you in some way? But it doesn't because it is LITERALLY fiction, you can do whatever you want, but theres something that stops me. Like for some reason I am so stuck on dialogue, timelines... and how it makes sense with what is GIVEN in canon and trying to rack my brain around plot holes- and then filling in my ideas into the story without changing the outcomes of canon. I did this when I was 13 years old too- this isnt new (Im 30 now) its quite fun, but I also have that people pleaser brain that knows i might portray something wrong or why didnt i do this because of this. And I try to focus on what IS canon and I want to make sure that characters dont diverge and have out of character changes. But who cares? I do- its a whole thing, I have no idea why. I have been told that I take things too seriously, but I cant really turn it off.

So I like to use this mod to get some references on the PS4- its called

"Companion faces for your character"

You get a lot of facial animations/ micro expressions since the SoSu does so many- so its fun to catch them and that means more references.
