I don’t think we are talking enough about how talented of a doctor Langdon actually is. Than man is so incredibly smart and quick on his feet. Rewatch season one. Yeah he’s cocky but he knows his shit.

something that rlly gets me is the fact that most kingdon moments happen when theyre alone. and one of the few times we've seen them interact in a group setting we got the 'its an inside thing' moment. which means that these two are soo annoying to interact with as an outsider because they are so exclusionary. like you just know they hijack every group conversation theyre in because they cant stop talking in inside jokes and obscure references. it doesnt matter what youre talking about, langdon will bring up something only he and mel understands just to make her laugh. now the whole convo's derailed. even patients clock it when mel and langdon are working on cases together. like wtf why are my doctors talking to each other in riddles. and in group debriefs they'll always stand next to each other and murmur to each other like annoying kids at the back of the class. theres just no decorum. theyre in their langonmel bubble. mel's talking with dana and langdon interrupts just to say 'lewis carroll' then leaves. when dana's like ??? mel explains that theyre playing the alphabet game, taking turns to name things in a category in alphabetical order. and theyre always doing bullshit like that together while everyone else is on the outside so dana's like, yknow what, i'll join in for once, what's the category? and mel's like '19th century british authors.' so. maybe theres a reason no one else ever joins in.
