I'm so normal about these two WHY are they so DOOMED BY THE NARRITIVE

I think i'm incapable of thinking about these two without making it angsty. I swear someday i'll make something where these two just. have a nice day.

No im not normal about the fact that despite everything Chosen still reached out to Dark hoping he would help him, and NO im NOT normal about actually SEEING the fact that Dark's code is still active. or the fact that chosen was called the angel of death and now dark built giant HORNS. these two make me so ILL

I'm holding out hope (im on copium) that the hollowheads will all at least have some sort of happy ending. or at least closure. DARK IS PLAYABLE IN ANIMATION VERSUS SO SURELY RIGHT? AAAA

So, in AvA episode 6, The Chosen One manages to defeat the Virabot with that light power everyone has pointed out but I’d like to bring attention to what happened a few moments earlier.

When The Chosen One is pinned down, getting beaten by the Virabot possessing the broken parts of the animation program (important for later) they get fed up and fire erupts from their body. And immediately later they do this

This golden light powered punch.

Notice how it doesn’t destroy the Virabot because they still have to end it later but it REMOVES the Virabot’s control of the giant spider made of the animation program

The Chosen One has the power to remove The Dark Lord’s control from things

And you know who struggled to have that? H4CK3R. He struggled to break Mitsi free even if he managed to do it in the end. One might think, he would be the answer to freeing everybody else but he’s trapped too! We need to free him first so they can free Orange so they can defeat The Dark Lord, following the Rock Paper Scissors cycle they have.

What do we have to so that The Dark Lord is defeated by The Second Coming when H4CK3R can n longer stop them?

We need to free H4CK3R!

And the only person that has the ability to do that out of everyone who is not mind controlled right now

THE CHOSEN ONE, CURRENTLY NO ONE

So my theory is:

They’re going to ask The Animator for help again somehow

The cursor will be there in the fight against The Dark Lord

The Dark a lord will send H4CK3R to kill Mitsi because she’s the leader and they think getting g her killed via her husband woukd be funny

The chosen One will get a flashback of when they let her die

The Chosen One will get in the way of the attack and save Mitsi

As they die, The Animator will get an idea

The Animator will redraw The Chosen One on his computer, naming it No One so that they come back before they get mind controlled by the Machine

The Animator will give The Chosen One their old name back

And The Chosen One will punch H4CK3R in the face upon their return (very cathartic) using their golden light power and free them of the mind control

Then they break Orange free and they defeat Dark

Everyone lives happily and The Chosen One gets their confidence back, becoming the most beloved character in the show

Like. I've been sitting here in bed, thinking about TCO and TDL imagining the saddest scenarios about Chosen being still trapped in the Box in the Rocket corp.

Not just my scenarios too. Remember this scene?

Chosen was forced to watch his best friend's death again. He must have felt guilty too, because he tried hitting his head on the floor so Victim wouldn't see his memories, but failed, what made them see how powerful TSC actually is, and that could get Second in even worse trouble. Imagine how Chosen felt: guilty, hopeless, sad (literally watching TDL die again), hurt (he got beaten up badly after all) etc.

And yes, Dark and Chosen did fight during showdown, almost killed each other. But Dark did mean something to Chosen, definitely a lot. Chosen was hurt by his creator, trapped as a blocker for pop-up ads on the computer, and then he met Dark and teamed up with him. Chosen was alone before that. They were friends, if not for Dark, then surely for Chosen. Dark was the only person Chosen had, and he just lost him.

Anyways, yea, I'm still gonna stick to the theory that in this scene...

...Dark attacked Chosen not because "oh you disagree with me, so I don't need you anymore" but because when Chosen threw Dark on the floor, Dark's system detected it as an attack, what triggered the code Alan gave him (mission.The_Dark_Lord = destroy(The_Chosen_One) ;) which is why they fought later on.

Chodark's relationship has SO MUCH POTENTIAL i'm telling yall, and so do their characters on their own. Like, what if Dark wanted to take over the world because he thought Chosen liked it? What if he made the virabots because he wanted to impress Chosen? Or a gift for Chosen?

After the new episode, I got to see Dark fight against Hacker, and he was NOT moving like that against the Chosen one, even after he had his viraband on.

There's something going on between them. Be it romantic or platonic, I'm all for it (though, I do prefer romantic)

If their relationship is romantic (I can keep dreaming yk?) then that further enforces chosen's parallel with victim.

Victim lost mitsi- Chosen lost Dark

Victim was tortured by alan for 9 months - chosen was tortured for 4 years

You know??

The difference between them would be their personalities.

I was a little sad not seeing Chosen (Ahem, No One) much in the new episode. He was there the whole time but he didn't do anything and now he's part of Dark's new building.

I hope his antivirus abilities come in handy. Alan, please name him back to the Chosen One.

Also, I imagine an ending episode where Dark's weak/dying because they figured out how to fight him/disabled his powers, and a conversation between Chosen and Dark, where Chosen is mad, telling Dark about all the torture he's been through, that Dark is selfish and only used him for his plan to take over the internet, when suddenly Dark snaps back, saying that he did it for them, BOTH of them, not just for himself. Something that he wanted both of them to rule the internet together, that he wanted good for Chosen. And then Chosen would go quiet, just thinking about what Dark said

Also, I think it would make sense that Dark was doing it for both of them, because there was something between them, I believe that, and all that Dark ever knew and loved was destruction, chaos. He was literally programmed to destroy, so that's what he knew best, he didn't care if it was bad, he just felt the need to do it, to fulfill the purpose of the program.

And apparently he felt no empathy and guilty towards others, but he did while fighting Chosen during showdown. It was the most visible at first, when Dark seemed confused, didn't fight Chosen with passion, like he did with Vic in the new episode.

I'm thinking, what if Dark has selective empathy? I don't know much about it, I only know it means when someone doesn't feel empathy for others, just for a small group they like or a person (I might be wrong tho, but I think that's how it works)

It would make sense, Dark feeling empathy only for Chosen, and wanting them both to rule the internet, because he thinks Chosen wants the same. They seemed to never talk much, I mean there was no episode yet where they were shown just hanging out, which means Chosen never had a chance to tell Dark about what he really wants in life.

And that would also explain why Dark seemed confused when Chosen tried to stop him from pressing the button back in their house

Dark probably thought "WE wanted this, so why stop now?"

It would be cool if Dark got a redemption (sorta) with Chosen but not anyone else. He obviously doesn't feel bad about all the destruction he did (it was literally what he was made for) but he had feelings for Cho. Idk what kinda feelings. But feelings indeed.

Clearly they didn't communicate much and I blame that on Chosen. Even for a stick figure, despite none of them ever talking (with an exception of second), he seems really quiet. He's got very little body language compared to other stick figures.

I firmly believe that if he had tried to explain why he didn't like Dark's virabot/why he didn't want world domination, Dark would've listened instead of getting mad. Chosen had no business just throwing him like that.

I guess it's not completely Cho's fault either? He probably is uncomfortable with words/maybe even selectively mute because of the time he spent with alan.

Now that he's No One, I hope Dark recognizes him but suddenly without the urge to destroy him. Ugh, I love these two. They could go burn.

Blue and green were shaking when dark came near them!!, my poor boys are traumatised!

And when the flashback was replaying, they felt it all over again!!!, yellow and blue looked away while green and red held the place where dark stabbed them!!!, my poor babies are traumatized!

And Dark flinched!, when second hit the bars, he flinched!, my baby is scared of his baby brother!, who is literally three years younger than him!

And red clinched his fist!, my poor babies did not want to put sc in there!!!
