If so, is she gonna be a late story enemy they have to avoid or fight to try and save the timeline? Is she willingly helping William in this au, or is she under the influence of Glitchtrap from Help Wanted like some people (and I think an ending of Security Breach) suggest? Will she be another victim that needs to be saved from the Afton cycle of misery, or is she more of an enabler of said cycle?

I love this au so much and I absolutely adore teenager single dad Mike and his very stressful but well meaning child. I adore fix it aus and, though they suffer so much to get there, this au is right up my alley with that! I love all the angst potential and Gregory meeting all the past people and just seeing all the pain and hurt and chaos that existed before to lead to his own story with the Fazbear company. Ahh, Vanessa. My beloved unwilling follower.

Yes, there’s plans for her in the story, but they’re actually very minor compared to everyone else!! She’s at most going to be a brief obstacle for Michael and Gregory once they reach the Pizzaplex point in the timeline (aka, well into their “final” run). She’s very much under Glitchtrap’s control, so it will ultimately become a “get this done before she gets you” kind of deal. And as they’re running against the clock, it’s not gonna be easy (the knife in her hands doesn’t help their odds either)

Vanessa kind of falls under the same category as Gregory in terms of how connected she is to the original William Afton’s misdeeds. The main objective of the story is to save his direct victims (the MCI kids, his children and Charlie); Gregory and Vanessa would be saved by proxy, so there won’t be straightforward scenes where Gregory and Mike focus on saving Vanessa herself (at least not with the same focus as the aforementioned victims).

“ball pit au” is just what I called it back in 2022 bc of the whole into the pit story with the time traveling ball pit and I thought it was funny (it stuck)

for ball pit au, Glamrock Freddy is a normal, functioning animatronic with his own personality chip and such until at a given point, is possessed by the vengeful spirit of Michael Afton (whenever it is in the timeline that Vanessa/Vanny begins working to resurrect/release Springtrap-Glitchtrap-whatever the fuck. If William comes back, so does Michael, that’s the deal).

The thing is that post-possession, Michael kind of,,, blends? With the Freddy persona. Kind of fades and becomes Freddy. That’s the character Gregory bonds with. And as the Security Breach events slowly unfold further, the real Michael starts slipping out, starts remembering, and if triggered, can become 100% conscious within the animatronic body.
