i haven't seen many people talking about it but i find it so neat the shadow crystals are broken dreams, and make sense with the bosses in their contexts
like spamton finding the crystal in the neo body being that abandoned dream for it's artist throwing away the project, breaking off the dream, because having the actual body isn't feasible (at least in this universe). It'd also make Sneo smelling like "Rotten Glass" make more sense as the dream has been dead for awhile.
gerson found the shadow crystal in his desk, where he's kept and where alvin works, who's been struggling to write his own sermon and live up to the reputation of his father, but with susie carrying gerson's message, learns to latch onto that dream again.
pink says the body had the crystal when she got there, and i believe it's tied to the mad ghost possessing the figurine after seeing it but couldn't move in it, or it even could be tied to alphys who (presumably) gave asgore the doll in the first place but I'm more tied with the former.
i just think this context on the shadow crystals this chapter is so neat and opens up a sea of questions in what the shadow crystal attained from the knight means and why it's just a chip off their entire blade. Like one whole lost dream.
And as for what seam is making I think it's an item we'll use to counter them in the ending chapters.
one more thing, as for what they represent in the light world, maybe they're shards of something whole and my theory is they combine to be a window, or perhaps a mirror, like a literal window to a mirroring reality, and why it doesn't change in the prophecy rooms is because the game has one(?) ending.
But I think it's tied more to Kris's perception of themself, the "despite everything, it's still you" line, and how there's so much emphasis behind self perception in the game and how that could be shattered by an interfering controlling party. but I guess we'll wait and see.
something that is left out a lot in discussion of the themes and such of deltarune is tobys real life disability. consider why a disabled person may be telling a story about a complex relationship and desire for freedom
most of the discussion i see about what freedom means in deltarune relates it back to gender and gender expression, which is obviously a very important part of dr, but i think there are other layers to it that aren't really being explored because it's less relatable to much of the audience.
just thinking about kris, i think there's a lot of ways their struggles can be interpreted as relating to disability. one example that seems particularly intentional is kris not being able to play the piano while under the soul's control and toby commenting about not being able to play the piano (among other things) due to pain.
we see in chapter 5 that kris can barely survive without the soul, but they also can't freely live their life how they want with it. they get to a point where they can barely move without it. they push themself beyond their limits to achieve what they can't when they're tied down by the soul. idk i kinda lost track of what i was saying here

Hey I’m starting to get into God Games ttrpg, for someone new to it which pov playlist would you recommend starting with?

If you're new to Godgame in general, it's a digital card game that was created by SocksBX, SnoruntPyro, and Rox300, on Tabletop Simulator
It's typically a 2-4 player game where everyone has cards they can use to attack others. The fun part is that the cards can be anything and they often have some crazy effects/powers. Theres a ton of videos on Youtube if you want to watch how the game is usually played!
NOW! Godgame TTRPG is where the mechanics of Godgame are formatted into a tabletop roleplay system! So some things differ from how they'd usually be played and theres more emphasis on character and story interaction.
There are actually a few GGTTRPGs out there but the Official Main Campaign is gm'ed by SocksBX with the players being KuuEater, RenoBee, and RobbyDude
(There is also a parallel campaign that takes place 3 months before the start of main campaign called Obsidian Eclipse, that's gm'ed by SnoruntPyro with players Socks, Dyvone, and theRealYocow)
For people just getting into GGTTRPG, I'd recommend watching the Player's perspective first! That way you can experience the story as the players do

I personally, don't watch it often because theres a lot of Behind the Scenes stuff that gets shown and I don't want to accidentally spoil myself since I watch the player's perspective. But! I do highly recommend check it out if you're interested in seeing behind the curtain on how Socks runs the game!

The story is so interesting, the characters are fantastic, and Socks, Kuu, Reno, and Robby are such amazing storytellers who are so funny to watch but also can deliver really emotional moments

I'm begging Flowery glazers to understand him in context with the other antagonists, because I'm seeing way too many people use Flowery as "proof" that Tenna, Queen and King (but especially Tenna) acted irrationally or with little regard for others. So let me remind you of their circumstances:
King - relegated to the supply closet after a lightner accidentally tore him. Has grown to resent lightners as a result of the Card Kingdom denizens being abandoned.
Queen - believes she is helping lightners by distracting them from their pain. Feels threatened when the internet shuts off. Acts with what she thinks are good intentions but is ultimately misinformed.
Tenna - fearing for his life the entirety of chapter three. Doesn't understand why the people around him keep disappearing and is desperately trying to bring back the past. Stuck in a negative environment with a poor mental state and acts accordingly.
Flowery - cared for by Asgore diligently despite both Asgore's shop and life crumbling around him. Feels protective of the man who has kept him and his family alive all these years.
Can we see why Flowery is the obvious outlier here? The world hasn't abandoned him, but rather from his perspective the world has abandoned the person he cares about. His actions are fueled by the fact he is loved, both by Asgore and the other flowers. So can we stop acting like he exists to cast shame on the other antagonists' actions? All of these characters are both products of their environment and the objects they represent, and personally I don't blame a single one of them for behaving the way they did.
