Todd in the Shadows is the only YouTuber I have watched consistently for over a decade. There were even a couple years where he was the ONLY YouTube channel I bothered with because I was mostly a podcast person at the time. I'm not even that much of a music person - but he is secretly a history channel, which is why I like him so much. He's very consistent and extremely funny

The thing about Todd in the shadows is that at least three times any given episode, he'll whip out the funniest simile/comparison you've ever heard, and then just move on like it's nothing. He'll be complaining about how overlong and dull an album is, and he'll say some shit like idk, "It's about as emotionally engaging as binge watching five straight seasons of Teletubbies." And you're just left there in the aftermath.
