This is a delayed post, but my brother and his girlfriend were looking for photos together, and of course, I was all about taking on the challenge.  They made it easy because they’re always having fun together anyway, and it makes for some of the best candid photos when people are comfortable with one another.  I’m happy I was able to help them and I was very happy with the photos we got that day!

Westminster Senior Photo Session

I can’t believe that my youngest brother graduated high school recently!  Time sure has flown!  Before his graduation, we took some rather unorthodox senior photos of him and his car – and we had a lot of fun in the process.

I knew Iceland was rainy….but it was REALLY rainy.  So rainy that after the first couple of dreary days I started to get seriously depressed.  But fortunately, we did eventually get moments of sunshine and opportunities to explore.  Iceland is a gorgeous country and I can’t wait to get back.

A Future Little Co-Pilot: Maternity Photography

Hanover, PA Photo Walk

Moving to Pennsylvania a year ago was a big change for me.  I have been pleasantly surprised to find some appealing photo spots while simply walking around and exploring the area.  I’ve discovered some of my new favorite hang out spots and met some great new people.  Now that I’m at home sick, I’ve compiled some of my favorite images from our walks around town.

Union Mills Winter Maternity Session

Lani and I had been working on setting up a photo session for a couple of weeks when we finally had an opportunity.  We lucked out, as the February weather was cooperative and we weren’t freezing cold.  It really was the perfect day for a photo shoot and I’m sure glad they decided I would be the right photographer for them!

The Start of Something New

If you take a look around….you might notice some differences.  It’s a new day for Jennifer Longo Photography!  I ultimately decided that since I rarely do commissioned photo work these days and there are other things I would like to blog about, the website will no longer only be geared towards photography.  Owning a website can be quite costly between purchasing hosting, a domain, etc. There was…

I experienced my first press trip, which was a fun time in Gettysburg!  I really got to experience a side of it that many people don’t see in the winter time.  There is much more than meets the eye of the typical tourist.

I developed a relationship with AdoramaPix as some of you know, allowing me to try their beautiful products and give some away for free to my readers at www.agirlandhertravelbug.com.  After working with them for a little while, I eventually became an ambassador for the brand, which was super exciting!

I saw good friends get married…which I was excited to be a part of!

I was part of a destination wedding in the Outerbanks with some great friends of mine, and we stayed at the most beautiful place with the most amazing group of people!  The best part of that trip was making so many fond memories with new friends.

Professionally, I had a really amazing year.  A video I worked on with a fellow coworker was chosen to be shown in front of hundreds of people in the aviation industry at the Piper roll-out in Florida.  It was a super proud moment for me.  Things just went well overall in this segment of my life.

I watched friends grow their families!  It’s always amazing to see how much their kids grow every year – and how much they are changing.

There was also a beautiful eclipse that the clouds cleared away enough for me to see and photograph.

And finally, I did some traveling.  I always wish I can do more traveling, but I did as much as I could on a small budget.  I headed to New York, North Carolina, Vermont, and a few smaller trips in between.

  In 2016, I would really like to do a lot more traveling.  I FINALLY got my passport this year, so it would be great if I could save some pennies and head out of the country.  I hope to expand my horizons professionally, and spend more time with friends and family.

Thank you so much to everyone who played a part in making my 2015 wonderful!  My friends and clients don’t hear it enough, but I appreciate you more than you even know.  I wish every one of you a SAFE & HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

BABIES AND HELICOPTERS, OH MY!

My friends recently asked me about shooting a very last second family/maternity shoot so they could announce the arrival of the new addition they have on the way.  Of course I said yes, and we chose to do it at the airport, which made for a very interesting session!
