I know people can and should be allowed to think whatever they want, and me caring makes me a huge hypocrite, but damn it, I would be lying if I said the Patton hate doesn’t grind my gears. It grinds them. My gears are thoroughly ground.

Yea it just saddens me to see so many people hating on characters I adore. Especially Patton, since I have sympathized with and related to him A LOT in the last episode...

But I don’t have to understand other people’s opinions to respect them.

I spent the last hour blocking hatefilled accounts and tags so that I for sure won’t be encountered by stuff that makes me uncomfortable anymore... which means I came across a lot of negative posts and am in a very bad mood now so all of this was pretty counterproductive. Heck I‘m literally making a negative post myself rn!

But to give this post a point let me add some advice... maybe?

If someones opinion on the internet deeply upsets you, block the person or certain tags they use. Take advantage of the blocking/filter options!

... if you want to. If you enjoy debating I am not going to stop you but ya still should respect other people’s opinions.
