One week ago today, I said YES!!!!! 👬🏻💍

On Thursday, October 3rd 2024, around 5PM, my then boyfriend, now FIANCÉ took me on a gorgeous pre-dinner walk along Lake of the Isles. We stopped at a beautiful, scenic bench spot where we often like to read. It overlooks the sparkling lake, with trees that are bent but still strong and leaves that wrap around each other in the breeze. It is one of our all-time favorite spots.

We sat for a while, talking about life and love, and anything else that came up. We never run out of things to say, but when he got down on one knee, I was speechless. He smiled at me and said “Today was such a great reminder of how I want to do this forever… Will you marry me?”

I am so unbelievably thrilled to say HELL YES and to spend the rest of my life with my best friend and the best person I’ve ever known.
