I saw this when running newpipe. But wait, it gets deeper. I clicked on the details buttons and it said as of today, we have 83 days left until Google rolls out this new requirement for apps inside and outside of the google play store. If any developer disagrees with their new terms and fees, they will be blocked!

I'll share some of the info below:

Looks like they're trying to nuke the remaining privacy and freedoms we have left on the internet.

What to do?

-Get your developer friends to not comply to their new guides

- Sign the open letter on the site and take action by checking out the full resources list on their website as well!

To summarize, this is all daunting especially when you feel all alone with unfair and inhumane regulations comming out faster than improvements but we got this working together!

They try to be inclusive to trans people by saying ‘only sex is binary, gender isn’t!!’ Which simply isn’t true. Neither are binary.

I’m so disappointed in how intersex people are completely erased from conversations about sex.

In my sex ed unit last year, intersex people were completely left out of the conversation. Intersex people deserve to be able to be safe with their bodies just as much as anybody else does. Same thing when learning about sex characteristics in 8th grade science. The teacher said “there is only two sexes, male and female, XY and XX” which literally isn’t true??? Someone asked her if different chromosome types were possible and she said no. Genuinely how are you a science teacher.

With Tumblr starting to roll out age verification, it feels like a good time to bring this up.

I went to my app store and turned off automatic updates back when the staff tried to roll out their reblogs bullshit last month or whenever that was. The age verification is only in the UK and Brazil for now, but it'll probably spread.
