- “this city’s always breathing, i wish that it would die” - the backing vocals on life to come (also the kick drum in the part right before the last chorus) - the delivery on “just run for cover, you’ve got nothing left to lose” (+ the quick stop right between that line and the last chorus!!) - all the drums on this album are so fucking awesome y’all??  - the drop in instrumentals right before the bridge on tyson vs douglas when brandon is singing “i had to close my eyes… close my eyes” oh FUCK yeah - u know i wanted to point something out for some kind of love but god damn we appreciate the hell out of this song all the time - the fucking delivery of “you say you don’t need confirmation, but i dont know if i can stop” - god just. the calling. why does no one ever talk about this song!!!! the bible verse in the beginning? the incredible goddamn lyricism??? the absolute strut of the beat and the melody holy shit 

-literally all of Rut, too many people sleep on it and it’s the best. Thank you Brandon for writing this beautiful song
