saw you were a fan of the chronicles of narnia so... do you have any headcanons about the pevensie children?
Yes, my darling Pevensies...
Here are a few of my headcanons about them:
Susan and Edmund got really good at chess during their Narnia days. They both competed in chess tournaments upon returning to our world (and did very well) but Susan eventually gave it up because people said it was too "masculine" for her. She picked it up again after her siblings' deaths as a way to remember them.
Lucy loves to read and devours books by the day. One of her favorite authors ends up being Polly from The Magician's Nephew, because Polly's writing reminds her so much of the book she read in The Voyage of the Dawn Treador.
Peter is really good with younger kids. In high school, he became a favorite of the younger students. When at home, all of the little neighborhood kids loved him because he would play with them without getting too rough. He’s the best at bringing good energy and fun while caring for people smaller than him.
Even though Susan wouldn't often go into battle with her siblings (as said in The Horse and His Boy) she was incredible at battle planning and would help chart out their attack from her seat at Cair Paravel.
Edmund wasn't able to make it through a Good Friday service for years after leaving Narnia. He would always try every year but always had to leave part way through.
After their first trip to Narnia, Pevensies would often search for ways to return. On walks through the countryside, peeking through smaller wardrobes, staring into mirrors.
The Pevensies are the sort of kids that are vcalled mature, “old souls,” etc… which means that they struggled to make friends with people their own age. Adults found them charming, if a little strange, but most other kids were a little weirded out.
Lucy loves print that has little flowers or animals playing on it. Her bedroom is wallpapered with little fairytale scenes of frolicking woodland creatures.
After her family died, Susan became very depressed and for a while considered trying to join them. But eventually she decided it was her job to bring a bit of Narnia to our world, and did her best to help those who weren’t being heard and stand up for those who were being put down.
Edmund is Lucy’s favorite sibling, and vice versa. (Well, maybe not favorite, because you’re not really supposed to pick favorites, but they get on best together.)
