A Superman short story by Scott Kurtz and Karl Kerschl (September 2, 2021)

In 2013, Scott Kurtz tweeted randomly that he had written a short Superman story. He asked if anyone wanted to take a crack at illustrating it. I said yes. Scott sent me his short script and it was great. It captured the simplicity and positivity that I always long for in a Superman story, and it was only five pages long! I started drawing it in my spare time and finally got around to finishing it eight years later. ~ Karl Kerschl

the american south is the most racially diverse and poorest region of the united states, and any political sentiment that treats the south is stupid or expendable is inherently racist and classist. a lot of y'all are racist and classist. the south is also the heart of american culture. argue with a wall. you cannot deny that everybody in the entire world does not emulate artists from atlanta. there is vested interest in keeping the south poor and uneducated BECAUSE this is the most racially diverse region in this country. if you actually give a fuck about progress, you would fight for the south, not mock us.

The name's super disrespectful for reasons I am not the best person to explain, which is a really big tip off for me. Not to mention he pals around with a lot of other people with rancid auras (like Internet Historian).

In terms of the actual content of his work, I'd be going off of older memory, but most of his stuff is just finding an iceberg meme and just listing everything off about it. It's pretty dry and passionless imo

#the bit that turned me off was at the end of the faith video #where after 3 hours he was like “the guy who made this game is Christian and also we both think exorcisms are a real thing #which does kind of change your perception of the whole video and the game #and I would have appreciated knowing that going in
