secondly I wanted to add that the other girls really pissed me off in the third(?) chapter when they're talking to Megan about yoonchae bc they were lowkey being so insensitive... poor Megan.

no one is able to understand megan with what she's going through, and the pool game with the girls shows that perfectly. although they all are friends with meichae and feel bad for megan, they're not properly able to take her seriously with how she's doing. but haha dont worry, we'll see what happens with megan and them next chapter 👀

I also just remembered it's been an entire year almost by this point. and that Megan had to celebrate so many milestones alone

hey anon, are you in my notes app? ❤️ god you're like on the dot with stuff im going to talk about in the next chapter (even though i had mentioned the anniversary in chapter four LMAO) but yeah, megan had to celebrate both of their birthday's, their anniversary, halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, new years, valentines, etc by herself. oh my god poor megan (i say as the author)

(speaking of which - would u ever do a Megan-pov chapter or one-shot of the time yoonchae was in the coma)

so like we saw in chapter three and what i just mentioned a few sentences ago, we will get a megan pov for part of the next chapter, as well as flashbacks from megan's pov from when yoonchae was in a coma! i can certainly do a whole one-shot dedicated to megan's pov in the future though 🙂‍↕️

anyway what I really like is the fact u can feel bad for both sides

im glad i was able to write it well enough! megan having to hold her love back for yoonchae even though she's still with her and yoonchae's still struggling with the effects of her coma </3 and even through we are looking through yoonchae's point of view, it's still so very obvious that megan loves yoonchae. i think it's fair to say that yoonchae's judgement is sort of clouded from her emotions about being upset with how megan has kept things hidden from her, which is fair, but for yoonchae, it hasn't sunk in yet that yes, megan still very much cares about her and that's why she did what she did

yes, Megan loves yoonchae, but also yoonchae loves Megan!!

what's funny is that right now, yoonchae is still on the fence between whether or not she loves or likes megan. don't worry, we'll see her find out in chapters 6/7 (no that was not on purpose. stop it.)

and for her to be so so mad until it clicks to her through the ring that oh, this isn't one-sided and oh, we actually did have something very very very deep and real, is so realistic and devastating at the same time.

I'm very glad Megan is now getting the chance to be angry bc she actually deserves to feel that way.

i think one of the saddest parts of this chapter was how even though megan saw the box first and knew immediately it was an engagement ring, she didn't really register that it wasn't even hers since she was so focused on trying to hide it from yoonchae. and when yoonchae found out, she started (reasonably) flipping out on megan, and she had dropped the bomb that she already knew about their relationship. it's only when megan yells that it's not her ring that it really sinks in for her that, oh shit, this is not her ring, megan has never seen this ring before.
