I'm all for dark romance and power imbalance, don't get me wrong: first is powerful old vampire that build walls around his heart and mind, and the other one is young bratty human, who's vulnerability ppl mistake as submission, - and both miserably alone. sounds delectable as hell, for sure.

but we are not the same....

if they're not hannigram level of freaks i don't want it. i don't want one to be a helpless pray waiting to be torn apart by a wolf but instead gets cradle in his arms.

i want for jasper to do something and then lose his shit when guy doesn't submit to him and freaks him out even more because he's also just fucking crazy. guy surprises him, doesn't let him think he's predictable and as boring as others, and jasper is weirder tf out, but his reaction? - what the hell, sure. I dig it.

It's not interesting when characters are not equals. I want them to be fucked in the head and insane. I LIKE IT WHEN THEY'RE BOTH FREAKS.

Guy, trying to escape Jasper, to do anything to save himself but being pinned down to a concrete floor by a powerful vampire is that kind of situation is hard to get out of without equivalent strength in possession. But he doesn't have that and there's no one that can help him, he's the only one who can save himself.

When Jasper holds his head and demands the answer, Guy, unable to read him before, looks vampire in the eyes and can only think that this might be the last time he can try to look at Jasper properly.

And, suddenly, he can.

He goes and looks, looks for something with all of his strength, he digs throughout the years of Jasper's long life while flashes of people, places and thick blood come and go past him until he finally stops.

Then he sees it.

Memory that Jasper has deeply buried in the back of mind, it's settled right where he can think of it but don't look to closely. It's so very important and, undeniably, well-guarded. But now dusted and blurry, painful and bittersweet at he same time.

Guy pushes and Jasper let's him in.

It's late evening and it's very quiet. He sees Jasper when he was a child surrounded by his family - people and vampires, some young, some old, some children. The mortal part of his coven are preparing for a night. There's not that many humans, used to be more; now it's just two women, one man, two children and Jasper. The vampires, on the other hand, are all dressed, beaming with energy and hunger - clearly ready to be awake the whole night.

Jasper's father, who's accepted a Dark Gift few years ago, guids his son to a bed, which he sahred with so-called older sibling. While everyone else is already sound asleep, Jasper is still wide awake. He seems sad and almost unconsolabe: he is begging his father to let him sleep in a coffin. He pleads and rants about how he wants to sleep at noon and be awake at night, wants to have his own coffin, wants to be a vampire. That's he's ready to be with his family for an eternity. From now on and always.

His father shakes his head and let's out an amused laugh, explaining to his son, once again, that he's simply to young to be a vampire. It's a law they must follow. Children cannot be turned. So, he will have to wait until he's an adult and if he's being proposed with a gift and he accepts it, then the whole coven is going o celebrate with him. And then he will be giving his coffin. And they will always be together.

He kisses his son for a night and Jasper whispers to him that he cannot wait to get old so he can be one of them forever. His father leaves and Jasper fall asleep.

Next day, early morning he was sent to neighbourhood family for a day. He spent that day away from his home and not once he ever thought that it was the last night when he saw his family alive.

Jaspers snaps out of the memory, truly shocked to the core of his immortal being. Theres something he almost can describe about what he feels like maybe it's a relief or some kind of peace; he didn't expect this outcome when he tried to get answers out of Guy. None of this was something he ever expected but the mortal boy just keeps surprising him every time.

And Guy is... crying. Heartbroken, like he himself lived throughout that night; the last night Jasper wasn't alone, the last night he was truly happy.

"I didn't know you could do that," Jasper says with barely noticeable wary in his tone. He tilts his head just a bit and tries to find something in Guy's eyes, not really sure what he's looking for. He gently wipes tears from Guy's face, ignoring the urge to taste them; whatever Guy hid from him about that girl seems just so unimportant, at least for now.

"I didn't know I hurt you so bad. I'm sorry", Guy whispers, deciding he's not really ready to talk about the obvious interest in Jasper's comment about what he just did with his powers. "I'll tell you about her but I swear I didn't mean to hide anything... I am really sorry"

Jasper is still for a second. Then he gets up and helps Guy to get up, too. Seems like whatever he was searching for in Guy's eye, well, seem like he found it. He grabs boy by his shoulders and pulls him into tight hug, firmly holding him against his chest with one arm. He presses his other hand on the back of Guy's head, running his fingers through his soft hair freely. Gesture is filled with care and unspoken possessiveness over him.

Guy doesn't feel like he has any say in what he likes or doesn't about physical contact but he would be lying if he said that he didn't feel relief that Jasper isn't trying to actively kill him and treats him kindly. He makes an attempt to relax his tensed muscles and just allows Jasper hold him close. For a moment he stops his breathing to try and feel the beating of a vampire's heart. It's slow and steady, like most vampires hearts are; for uneducated mind it would look like he's dying right here right now. But he just calm and collected, it's his nature, while Guy tries his hardest to match with Jasper. Obviously, considering the situation, he fails miserably.

Jasper chuckles at his childish attempt to calm down as hears Guy's heart not slowing down at all; his veins full of sweet magical blood basically are singing to him through boy's pale skin. Almost like Guy's own body, against the will of it's owner, begs for him to bite and have a taste. To mark, to claim.

An idea strikes his head. He leans Guy down again, his fangs tear into the delicate human neck, drains him dry, then gives him his own blood and proudly witnesses his death and birth. Then he puts Guy - now reborn with bright red eyes - in a coffin with him, because Jasper is selfishly wants Guy to spends his first night as immortal with him. Just an idea, for now. Maybe a suggestion for much later.

For now he just wants to be on the same page with his remarkable human boy.

"Will you let me see them again? Can you do that for me, baby?" not an order, not a demand. A simple request, coming from one lonesome soul to another.

Guy gives him a quick nod. His scattered thoughts and body language clearly tell Jasper that he's a bit unsure about it due to lack of experience or maybe because of fear before his rown raw powers but doesn't back down.

"I will try for you, promise. I just- I don't want to die. Please."

"You won't die. I have plans for you." he gently strokes his hand through his curls and Guy knows he's not just saying that to reassure him; it's clearly a warning for him to not betray his trust like that again, to not lie, to be on his best behaviour around Jasper untill he can have his full attention once again. "Then we have a deal."

I'm not letting you go. You'll stay. With me.

it's from a new interview william and nick did, and I'm going just a bit insane from their phrasing. they way they discribe it it's very queer but wtf do u mean it never crossed your head that there's anything sexual going between jasper and guy??!?!

safe to assume nothing is going to happen between them by the end of season, BUT I can only hope in season two jasper is going to beat the shit out of guy but still wouldn't be able to kill him because guy us going to be alone, used and abused and crawl back to him in need of help.

He needs to be lost, desperate, alone and suffering so when he gets back to Jasper he can acknowledge how his own betrayal was uncalled for and he was wrong for using Jasper.

These two are not even canon (yet... bc I'm delusional) but I'm already is to fuckung obsessed 🫦

What if Peter came up to Charles when he was getting into car to leave school in the end of Dark Phoenix and says that he would like to go with him, and Charles was like "I greatly appreciate everything you've done for school, for me and for the X-Men, Peter, but i cannot ask of you to do this"

And Peter just goes "Well, yeah, but if I'm not asking, so it's means it's okay? And plus, I think I really overdue a really important conversation with Erik".

And then cut to Erik sitting down with Charles to play chess at street cafe and then they talk as it was in the film, but there's also a really quick cut to Peter standing in the cafe at register ordering something and he turns around for a second and smiles when he sees that Erik is fondly looking at him.

Charles noticed their little moment and says "I'm really happy Peter told you. Every time we talk he nonstop brags about how there's so much to do around Genosha. You've kept him busy, huh?"

Erik smug and all "And you definitely will find something to keep yourself busy, too, Charles. Think about it" he paused and then chuckled "And you know, Peter is doing all great meeting new people but it wouldn't hurt for him to have a familiar face around, too. I also think the title of Prince people gave him might have got into his head a little too much, so he needs somebody to keep him and his ego humble".

"He definitely got it from you, my friend" Erik laughs and Charles sheepishly smiles, not know if he's going accept the invitation just yet, and then he sees Peter coming back to them holding a plate with pastries at the most normal average speed, denying any help from a waitress.

Charles makes a quick observation "Looks like he's finally found something, or should I say, somebody, he's ready to slow down for."

"Indeed, he did" and you can see how deeply Erik cares about his son.

"Then I think I can do it, too".

They silently keep playing, Peter sits down with them, yapping about fresh baked goods in Paris and then camera starts rolling away as we barely keep hearing Peter talking until we stop hearing it at all while flaming Phoenix figure appears in the high sky.

And then cut. End credits.

Peter visits Genosha pretty often after Apocalypse to help mutants and to be closer to Erik (and mags LOVES IT bc "your x-men members are running away to me again, Charles, how ironic is that" but in a good way)

Erik is trying to be a good leader, safety of the commun is a priority for him

Erik is very glad to have Peter around from time to time because he admires how Pete is so comfortable with his powers and how much kindness to other people he's always ready to offer

"For most of my life, I saw my powers as a weapon and source to do what I need to do even if it's a price most people would never dare to pay, but with how much you make your gift a part of yourself and more than just a tool to achieve something, it's very special, Peter. You're very special. Don't ever forget about that." and what if i cry 😭

Peter tells Erik the truth about their relation only after he gets to know Erik a little bit better because he wants to be sure he wants Erik in his life for the rest of it. He knows Erik is a good person and Peter himself deserves a good father and that's why it's was so important for him to know what kind of person his father actually is

because SIKE he does want to know him no matter what, he carried this truth for more than a decade, he had enough of it and was going to tell him anyway

and guess what? Erik is shocked but also so fucking happy, excited and pretty sad he missed all of those years of Peter's life.

Erik also makes a conclusion that maybe Peter was able to live for so long and be safe because he didn't have Erik in his life. He even thought of pushing his son away but Peter looked so relieved and happy when he told him, Erik immediately got angry at himself for the way he thinks. He would never dare reject Peter.

Maximoff realises how much he craves Erik's love and it goes both ways so they're a bit awkward with each other at first

Erik scared to care about someone that way again but he can't deny how good is Peter for him and his mentality. And with how amazing Peter is, he cannot be more happier to know he has him as his son now

Peter knows he's all grown up and shit but still wants to be with his dad but just can't say it

Erik just as dumb as Pete but he knows better than throwing away his opportunity to love him they way he deserves, so doesn't pressure Peter into staying, convinced that somebody like his son won't choose a life on Genosha when he has the whole world for himself to explore

Peter is going to visit his mom and little sister not knowing that Erik thinks he's leaving him without talking seriously with each other yet (they're idiots, you honor, but that's okay)

So Erik rushes to him and passionately says Peter how much he adores him and that he always going to have a safe place with him in Genosha and always welcome here. Erik tells him that he'd never forgive himself later for letting Peter go away, for not saying how important he is for him. He can let Peter go, it would hurt him, but happiness of his child is much more important for him than his own loneliness

"You want me?" "Yes" You want me here with you?" "Yes" "Can you be my dad and do what dads do?" "Yes" "And I? Can I be your son?" "You always going to be my son, even if you leave me or don't want me as your father anymore, you still going to be my son"

*violently sobbing after writing that but i must keep going*

So Peter calls him 'dad' and it's very natural and it's just right. Peter happily says how much he wants to stay and build good son-father relationship with him because he never had anything remotely close to a father figure

Erik tells him that he'll give Peter everything he ever wanted from him, he just needs to ask him

Peter does ask him just to be his dad and care about him like he'd care about him if could all those years and he doesn't care anymore that he might be too old for that

They both LOVE flanel shirts. Peter keeps stealing Erik's (even if they're a bit to big for him), and Erik never scolds him, he loves seeing Peter find joy in such little things like taking his father's clothes

Peter does think it's his obligation as a son to teach his Old Man what's popular around young generation, he shows Erik his big collection of vinyl records and cassettes. They watch films together and enjoy music.

Erik is keeping the promise of being a good dad for Peter

Which means...

Erik cooks for him!! A lot!

Most of the nights they sit down outside by the fire to look at stars and it's always the time when Erik tells some stories from his past before Peter goes to sleep

Erik does give Peter his heirloom pretty quickly after he finds out they're related and with no hesitation. Peter isn't sure he can take something so important from Erik when he's basically a stranger but after he explains what it means, Peter takes it and cannot be happier to wear the heirloom as a necklace or a bracelet, he loves it and is very careful with it because he'd never want to loose it.

Erik noticed Pete liked wearing cheap jewelry, so he made Peter few special rings and bracelets with unique compound of metals, and it's so unique he can feel it from thousands miles away. So he always can find his son no matter what.

Erik always listens to what he says even if it's hard because sometimes Peter talks to fast for everyone

Erik teaches Pete some "boys" and "father-son" things he never knew bc he didn't have a father before

Peter randomly remembers to tell Erik that he can also control magnetic fields but he's not good at it since he suppressed that power for many years, so when he can't really regulate his emotions and energy right his magnetism gets out of control

Erik is fascinated by it and absolutely stoked to find out they have another thing in common. He starts teaching Peter how to control it and their bonding time is absolutely amazing

also, Erik IS SUPER PROTECTIVE OF HIM!!!! he'd literally bark and hiss if he could at strangers and suspicious people that come around and meet Peter but he can't, so he only stares at them very judgementaly and threateningly (Peter keeps apologising for him jokingly but he knows how important it is for Erik to know and see with his own eyes that his son is safe and sound)

After all, Peter does leavs X-men to live in Genosha with his dad (and that's kinda canon bc in comics Pete would leave Avengers or X-men to join all kind of organisations all the time for many reasons)

Erik is super happy that his son is now with him but he won't let him join any mission due to fear of losing him

Because of that there's some conflicts between them. Peter is pissed and doesn't understand why he can't go and help because with him every mission would end ten times faster with much lesser damage, so they fight and scream until Erik horrifyingly reveals that he just can't let himself lose another child

"Dad, I'm not Nina. I'm not Anya. I'm not a child and I can protect myself. No one can stop me, no one can catch up to me anymore" Peter says and that's hurts Erik, because it's true

"But you're my only child that actually was able to live to adulthood. And it was because I was not around. If we separated, if you stay here, then you cannot get hurt" and Peter is absolutely heartbroken to hear it

"Losing you, if I'm no there to help and protect you, will hurt me much more than a scraped knee and few broken ribs, dad. I don't fight and help because I have moral compass of Captain America. I fight for my family. Which is Genosha and which is you." and that what's probably makes Erik understand no matter what he does, Peter is going to always choose to be by his side and fight with him, for him. Peter not as invincible as he thinks he is but he's close to be one, so for Erik that's enough for now

It's not perfect and very rocky, they fight and they make up because, after all, there's nothing more important than family and they both learn how to find middle ground to accommodate each other's needs and feelings

People call Peter "Prince of Genosha" behind his back which he finds ridiculous and at the same time quite flattering (but he would never tell anyone) but Erik not-so-secretly loves it and teases him for it occasionally

Peter helps a lot around commun, with gardening and building. He gets along with few children that is there and loves to play with them, he's tries to know everyone and gains a few good friends amongs island citizens but still feels the most close to his father

Metallokinetic Peter is everything to me, if i forgot to mention.....

And when he finally starts going on missions, he's magnetic powers are shown in full display and people absolutely shocked

Hank crossed paths with him during few missions (as everything quite neutral between Xavier's school and Genosha) and immediately tells Charles about it

*long pause, crickets in the background. Charles spills his tea.* "Fuck. There's two of them now?" *long pause. Charles opens his bar, Hanks takes a seat*
