The Avengers Headcanons

Clint may have not started signing until his teens, and he may wear a hearing aid for work, but he identifies as big-d Deaf and Loki having 'fixed' his hearing really pissed him off.

Thor and Sif named their firstborn Coul- neither being quite able to recall what the Midgardian son of Coul’s first name was, but both being determined to honour their mutual friend and ally.

Clint has been staying at a high-security undercover PTSD rehabilitation centre for SHIELD agents, following the events of the Avengers, accounting for his absence from the fall of Shield events. The base is called the Farmhouse, although, technically, it doesn't have a name because, technically, it doesn't exist, it being a secret base and all.

One of the many “projects” on which Clint and Natasha frequently conspire is convincing Steve to wear his dress greens as often as possible, for the sole purpose of watching Phil struggle to keep his composure.

During The Battle of New York Steve and Natasha came across two Chitauri Soldiers hanging upside down while tangled in what looked like a giant spider web.

Before Tony gave up drinking, he used to get blackout episodes. Every once in a while, the Tower would wake up to a new, and frankly odd, gadget. Some notable mentions are a fleet of hive mind roombas, a toaster who dislikes raisins, and a TV that somehow connects to Asgard. Maria Hill have a coffee maker in her office. She keeps it stocked with imported beans and fancy creamers because she drank enough of the swill from the canteen as a junior agent. (Coulson is the only one she lets have any. Fury use to be allowed to, but he broke the last machine and Hill's still kinda mad about it).

Tony, Bruce, and Thor thought it'd be funny to reenact the Circletine video. Clint happened to walk in on their recording (he would've taken a beaker to the face if he didn't shut the door fast enough), and Steve was the unlucky one who, unbeknownst to him, was chosen to play as Grandpa (he made the mistake of falling asleep on the couch).

Tony made the mistake of introducing Steve to Five Nights at Freddy's. The rest of the team is still trying to coax him out of his room.

Steve convinced Tony to anonymously fund and help build numerous domestic-violence shelters.  (In truth, Tony didn't need much convincing.)  Neither one likes bullies.

Darcy Lewis loves musical theatre. She will often sing her favorite songs while working in the lab with Jane.

Loki considers themself as genderfluid, switching between forms of female and male easily. It took Thor a while to understand, but he tries to use the appropriate pronouns.

Steve knit Bruce's sweater.  He also darns everyone's socks and does minor clothing repairs, because he hates buying new things when the old ones can be repaired.

Sometimes Thor comes to Midgard for a "holiday" and to help the other Avengers kick some ass. There is a great deal of mystery and rumour surrounding the occasion Thor and Natasha returned from a partnered mission, wherein Thor had a Mjolnir-shaped bruise on the side of his face and Natasha had a mildly-sprained wrist. Ever since, she's been slightly more forgiving of herself and her past, though Thor refuses to disclose the details to Tony.

Clint has special arrows for any and all eventualities. Like holy water for demons. And dead mans blood for vampires. He started this after the gang started to watch supernatural. He figures after everything else they've seen, anything is possible.

When Bucky and Rocket meet they share a look, and both of them know what the other has gone through. Peter is cautious when Rocket, Tony and Bruce start working on something, waiting for Rocket to declare his need for Bucky's arm. However, Rocket never asks.
