Let me preference this by saying that I have little to no personal experience and relation to war. My Grandpa fought in WW2 but that's as far as it goes. I truly have no idea of how deep and complex it can be other than what I know from personal research, nor do I love it. In fact I despise war and everything it has done to humanity. I am a introverted nerd blessed with parents who loved me enough to never have me within a 100ft pole of any thing relating to it. So what right do I have to talk about it within this song? None. But I love this anime so I shall continue! Tanya is just too great of a character to ignore! Got it? Good.

Have you ever read "Meet the Nijiku's" by startica? It's a part of one of my favorite Janka series, please give it a shot, it's sooo great! What I'll talk about next is a spoiler for ch.3. Skip this part if you don't wanna deal with that!! ... Okay, so like hyperfixation kicked in after ch.2 (Author, you are a cruel, cruel person for the cliff hanger. Especially after ch.3!!!), and I started to think about the possibilities of what Janka's rings could do! My biggest theory was that it would work as a poison (ofc) for both, with the results making Jabber and Zanka act more like each other. I thought about it so much, I have to get it out of my system here!! Enjoy my insane ramblings of a prompt/fanfic idea/headcanon based on one of my favorite fics!!

I really like the idea of Zanka slowly losing any sense of control and just letting loose for once, ya'know? At first, it's just his anger getting the better of him; the smallest of things annoy him more than usual. Someone is eyeing him? People gossiping together? A backhanded compliment? It just ticks him off more and more until he's so angry that yelling doesn't seem good enough. No, he needs to get it out physically. He doesn't care about being Mr. Cool; his reputation doesn't mean a thing. Zanka, Mr. Nothing-special-about-him, is going to make them respect him. This is when the Jabber effect takes place. Because of his need to outshine the geniuses, he'll do anything and everything to get the upper hand. He'll look at every flaw others don't notice and use it to his advantage. Like with his introduction scene or first training day with Rudo, he'll observe, fixate, and obsess over what makes them special and destroy it! Is this OOC? Yes. But I'm also obsess wth personality swap Janka soooo. This doesn't change the fact that he's under the influence of poison. His ring's ability will last a loooong while once taken effect. Even if he took it off, Zanka's gonna need to be strapped down until he's better. It's a painful aftermath. Zanka has no memory of what happened; the last thing he knows is that his blood pressure was through the roof for no reason at all. Very fun recovery period, lemme tell you!

Now Jabber is a fun story of "Possibly the worst/ best experience from poison ever." To start with, we all know that Jabber is an experimental/ interactive learner. He learns by doing (e.g., Jabber experimenting with the Protective Amulet's abilities), but when the poison takes over, he doesn't even need to test; he just knows. He'll know how everyone around him will react with Mankira. To put it simply, it's like how I am with my Adderall. Focused and clear of mind. No distractions, no side-tracking; just working from task to task. There's no point in trying anything; it's a matter of fact, just like 1 + 1 = 2. Because of that, he's calmer, more relaxed, and so damn bored. The downside of being a poison addict is that he's developed a high tolerance to everything he's got. He could down liters of Mankira, and he'd only be tripping for 5 minutes at best. Not even fighting people will make things fun, no matter if they're weak or strong, since he already knows the results; what's the point? The effect doesn't last long, which is a blessing for Jabber. He'll be out of it for a bit; nothing to worry about. Once it's over, he'll be his normal (insane) self!

You may be asking yourself, Jax, this is great and all, but what's the point of rings that just make them worse for wear? The answer is simple, my dear reader! Efficiency. The only reason why their rings would activate is because Jabber and Zanka must be reunited asap! They make each other worse and better as a couple; it's one of the reasons I love them as a ship. I love the idea of them being more like each other and suffering because of it. They are total opposites; trying to be anyone but themselves wouldn't work out, it's just not who they fundamentally are. Zanka wouldn't start a fight unprovoked. Jabber wouldn't avoid using a poison as far as we can tell. They balance each other out, so being together at all times is the best.

What kind of vision would the Gachiakuta characters have in a Genshin AU? And where would they come from? Here are some of my own opinions as a very casual player: - Rudo: Khaenri'ah(?), outside the world of Genshin (like the traveler), or Nodkrai specifically/ Pyro -Riyo: Fontaine (turns out there was a French Jack the Ripper, who knew!)/ Anemo or Hydro -Enjin: Honestly, hard to say, but maybe Mondstate/ Hydro or Dendro -Zanka: Inazuma/ Electro, Cryo, or Geo

- Bajitorafuyu are all in unrequited (requited) love for each other, with Bajitora being the only ones to confess to each other thus far, and are trying to figure out how Fuyu feels about them. -Chifuyu thinks they're already together, then wonders if they are, why haven't they told Fuyu + experiencing a little internalized homophobia -She doesn't want to rock the boat of their relationship now, but yearns to be with them both even more. But it's not natural to like someone of the same gender, let alone two people at the same time, right? If she confesses, it could ruin everything. Then she'd be left with nothing -She's used to being alone and doesn't want to bother others with he feelings and figured the best way to handle everything is to delete herself from the narrative entirely. -This leads to Fuyu getting her own corrupted form with the ability to summon snow that makes everyone forget her. -So it's snowing, and everyone's outside and gets caught in it, forgetting Chifuyu -Only for Tora to look at the calendar and see Fuyu's birthday marked. She remembers her the next second -Calling everyone up and asking if they've seen her. It takes a second for everyone to remember her existence -They figure out something's wrong and agree to go hunt down Fuyu together. The problem is how they'll find her, when every time they go outside, they forget her the next second? -Baji then realizes that she also hasn't seen Peke J all day and guesses that he might be with Chifuyu right now. She tells Tora to replace Fuyu's name with Peke J and go outside. Then send a text to everyone for help to find Peke J -That way, even when they forget Fuyu, Peke J will take her place in their memory. Everyone will see the text and think to go look around for Peke J. Especially when it comes to celebrating a cat, Baji is so fond of -They leave, see the message, and immediately go searching for 'Peke J.' -Bajitora finds him in the arms of a familiar-looking girl they've never seen before and starts talking to her. The girl is dodgy and seems to want to get away immediately, but something within them is screaming to not let her disappear -It's only when the girl slips up and calls Baji, "Baji-san," that they think something else is going on. Immediately pressing the girl on why she knows Baji and what she was doing with Peke J -She's silent for a bit, then says, "Why couldn't you both leave it alone?" and reveals herself in her corrupt Mg form -Skipping over the fighting bit, but near the end, Fuyu is practically begging for them to leave her alone and forget her -I'm doing this for you. Why can't you two just let me help you this one time? Can't you see this is for the best? I just want you both to be happy. Why can't you understand that? -But Bajitora can't comprehend how literally erasing her existence would make anyone happy, nor do they get how she didn't just talk to them. -Fuyu loses and re-transforms, returning to normal. The second she's awake, they press her again for answers, and Fuyu breaks down crying, spilling the truth of her feelings and woas -Bajitora are like, "You seriously transformed into that because you liked us??? You didn't know we liked you too?!?!" -Love confessions galore, happy ending, fluffy end~
