[Ushijima, muttering to himself] I did not think the Adlers played that terribly yesterday.

[Tendou] Like, their defence was shabby considering they were playing such an important match-

[Ushijima] Shabby?

[Tendou] Yes, 'Toshi, it was unbearable.

[Ushijima, ashamed] I see.

[Tendou, gesturing wildly] And their attack was strong at the start, but then- POOF! It all disappeared.

[Ushijima, whispering to himself] I was substituted off after the second set. Is that why the attack was weak?

[Tendou, ignoring Ushijima now to rant] I had such faith in the players, especially the Dictator himself, and they fumbled the game this badly?

[Ushijima, muttering under his breath] I have heard a few people refer to me as the Dictator. Do I come off as too cold to some fans?

[Tendou] Well, the game is over, and they were defeated. It's the end.

[Ushijima, confused] But...Satori, we won.

[Tendou, also confused] ...What?

[Ushijima] Admittedly, our game yesterday was not the best, but we ultimately won; yet you see it as a defeat. Was our gameplay that poor?

[Tendou] Darling, what? No one said anything about you playing.

[Ushijima] Who are you talking about then?

[Tendou] The French team in the semi-finals? The World Cup? Who did you...oh my god, you thought I was commenting on your game yesterday?

[Ushijima, realising] You watch soccer?

[Tendou] Football, darling, but yes, I do.

[Ushijima] But...you played volleyball.

[Tendou, exasperated] Again, I don't see the problem with tha-

[Hoshiumi, spluttering] Traitor! Tendou-san, you absolute traitor! You...how could you?

[Tendou, dryly] It's really not that big of a dea- and he hung up on me. Why can't I watch football? It's the only thing that keeps me alive on these boooring days at work. "Oh, you traitor!" Shut it, Dumbledore. You're a step closer to death if your hair says anything about it. C'est ridicule...

i think they’re def married but i rlly haven’t thought about the naming part lol!!

Id like to think when they were dating they both wanted to take each other’s last names. Satori wants the Ushijima name because he’s more successful and amazing in his eyes. he also wants to 1. wow everyone with sharing the last name of famous volleyball player, 2. wow again with revealing he’s married to famous volleyball player, 3. brag about being married to famous volleyball player, 4. preserve the lineage for their future kids so they can also brag. Then Wakatoshi wants the Tendou name because he’s a lover boy haha
