this one is so often used for enemies to lovers situations i fear but like. they enjoy that it's messed up. the whole song is legitimate flirting. definitely unhealthy but like. its there.

the song is written from the perspective of a stalker and i've seen so many stalker related aus/headcannons of these two that it immediately clicked. i see it more as being from jabber's perspective but could go either way.

this one feel very zanka-and-his-weird-inferiority/superiority-complex to me, could also be jabber at parts but jabber is someone we see win more often. maybe jabber after rehab and had joined the cleaners but as things currently stand it's my boy zanka.

I saw a YouTube video where they had 2P jabbers opposite trait being that he doesn’t like fighting instead it’s “hardcore love” that gets him erect

in this they also had 2P Zanka extremely self obsessed and cocky, while also having him be a hard-core sadist still(he still denies it tho)

I need this concept.

Where the OG version of them meet this version of the 2PAU, and I need og Zanka and 2P Jabber to get along amazingly well, just so that it pisses off og jabber and 2p Zanka.

I need this by Friday or I’m gonna be forced to write it myself and I’m already writing a fic, y’all don’t wanna give me more work right? :,)

I cannot paint him,

But at the very least, I remember him.

In my mind’s eye, I know he was there.

His skin was flushed in watercolors,

Light brown, rose-tinted cheeks,

Long dark hair that draped past his shoulders,

And eyes that crinkled in joy when they saw me,

Like he’d known me all along.

He wore long white gloves made of satin,

and I felt his rings beneath the white,

Felt his nails, like prodding claws,

Like a secret.

His eyes glowed pink with a daze,

Chemicals pounding in his blood,

And his head fell against my chest as we danced.

I pressed my palm in against his back,

Tugging him closer.

Someone was watching.

Blood trickled in delicate streams

From the corners of his mouth,

Tinged up against his canines.

I wondered with a strange absurdity

If he’d stain my suit.

I didn’t care.

He looked up at me again,

Tightened his hand in mine,

Gave me that bright awful smile

As tears pooled up in his eyes.

Danced with me like the last dance on earth.

Begging without words,

Begging me to save him.

Could I have saved him?

What was I to do?

I whispered as I drew him in,

Whispered to give me his name.

He shook his head, still smiling,

Then laid against my neck

Like a bird coming to rest.

The music swelled,

And I felt the thought flood our hearts

At the very same time:

If we have nothing else,

We have this.

He was warm and sweet like a dream in my arms,

The ballroom spun in shades of black and white and gold,

And he was red,

Red like the heat in the pit of my soul.

My family watched me.

My father watched me.

I knew that night

Something terrible would happen.

But in the light of the ballroom…

“Jabber,” he whispered finally.

I clutched his back as warm blood spread out across the inside of my palm.

“Zanka,” I whispered back.

He smiled like a fool.

“See you in the next life?” he murmured.

I held him close.

Whoever it was

Was finally closing in.

“Until then,” I whispered back.

My hands are marred in bandages now,

The light of my room has burned out.

I cannot see, I cannot paint,

But I can think, and feel, and breathe.

I cannot paint him,

I cannot conjure him,

But I know he was there.
