She vaguely heard a call from below, scared she might have hurt someone yet again she quickly peered down the balcony. But no one was there, ‘strange’ she thought. She looked back at the moon in front of her, the light of the moon slightly bent in one spot, as if a figure was among her. She reached out to it and to her surprise she felt her skin brush against something, another hand? Regardless of what is was She panicked “Is someone there?!” beginning to back away slowly her heart rapidly beating faster “If you are there, you need to stay away, I’m dangerous!” countless thoughts ran through her head, did she turn someone invisible? Did the snowball have something to do with it? Did she ruin someone life? Is she going to hurt them more? Through her flustered emotions she wasn't paying attention and began to fall backwards.
Holding his breath in anticipation, Jack kept his eyes on the girl as she looked straight at him. For a moment he almost believed she could see he was there, and then she reached out and even touched his hand and a breathless gasp escaped him.
Her touch was cold, but not inhumanly so. More like someone who had just been out in chilly weather without gloves. Or so he imagined, anyway, there hadn't exactly been many people around and human contact was new to him.
Then Jack had noticed how fear filled her eyes as she pulled back, calling out for someone.
Is someone there?
Of course, she hadn't seen him. Only sensed his presence, and what good did that do? A little disappointed, the spirit of winter sighed before perking up at her next words. Dangerous? To him, she looked harmless. Then again, there had to be a reason for a young woman to live alone in a castle made of ice in the mountains, so he took it into consideration before clearing his throat.
"You don't look all that threatening to me, though..." He mumbled, landing on the cold ice rather than flying away. Frowning slightly, he leaned in to have a closer look at her, taking a few cautious steps around. "Can you, uhm... Can you hear me?" It was worth a shot.
